wonderful, friendly staff and owner - amazing gathering place with open and covered decks, indoor seating and picnic/bistro tables on the lawn in front of the music stage. Delicious sandwiches, best homemade pimento cheese ever (recommended by local cyclist Jack, who called it “legendary”), great coffee, rented Specialized hybrid bikes for the 50 miles of well maintained Virginia Capital Trail, located right next to S + A at MM 2.5.

Great time renting and riding bikes. Janine was a pleasure to deal with she is a hard worker there and will help you with what you need.

What a hidden gem! Great coffee beverages with plant-based milk options available, tasty sandwiches (the turkey and Brie with raspberry aioli was to die for!) and pastries and incredibly friendly service. They have cute souvenirs and local art, as well. Lots of space with outdoor seating available.

Reminds me of the old general store where my grandmother used to work. Lots of wood everywhere, etc. Serves lattes, coffees, teas, and pastries. I was there at 9am. It has an area outside which will be nice for spring. The drinks were one size only, but it was big enough for me. Not small. I felt it was cheaper than Starbucks. It's in a quiet wooded area.

Oh my God this place is so awesome, super cute and craft beers by the can. I can't think a more welcomed stop after biking for 4 hours. Love it!

Handcrafted coffee drinks and a cooler full of beers, sodas & energy drinks. Had a great savory pastry and a really fresh iced tea and delicious cappuccino. Lovely outdoor seating area and everything you need for a day out on the trail!

Spoke + Art was a phenomenal lunchtime roadside stop. Nestled away from the big city, this cozy eatery was filled with lively town folks and a talented live musician. Offering hot and iced coffees, cold beer, and variety of homemade sandwiches, this was the perfect snack to curb a hunger craving. I definitely recommend Spoke + Art for anyone looking for a savory quick pit stop.

One of our favorite places to go in Williamsburg. Great location to hang out and relax, and all staff members we've interacted with have been awesome. Our toddler loves running around the grassy area and the cold brew is great!

Food is good. Service a little southern slow for this Yankee. Bike rental and trail access is excellent.

I love this place! The food is amazing and it was the perfect place to stop on our bike ride. They offer a bathroom that is open 24/7 and have an air pump and bike tools. The store is really cute and they have seating in the shade!

We just came in to check it out. There were so many options...from bicycle gear to wine and bourbon flavored canned drinks. I didn't eat any of the food, but it looked really good!

We enjoy visiting Spoke + Art for the Thursday afternoon teas. Whether sitting outside or inside, the environment is relaxed and welcoming. All of the treats served with tea are delicious!

Passed it twice yesterday while doing a 20 mile out and back on the Capital Trail (in the rain, unfortunately!)…should have stopped on my return lap but was thinking about a BBQ Sandwich and just wanted my Ride to be Done! Well, on my way out of W’burg (on SR 5) I saw it again and thought I should stop…walked in and right away loved the place! Had I stopped on my return lap I would have had a coffee and a cinnamon roll but…since I’d just had lunch, I decided to grab JUST the Cinnamon Roll; for later…Great Decision on my part! If You’re near W’burg in the Cap Trail do Yourself a favor and make a stop in…I BET You’ll LOVE it!

Loved the Cortado. Right or wrong it’s how I judge every coffee shop. But I’ll add that the cookies my kids had and the warm chocolate croissant my wife had were incredible too. Plus a place for my kids to run around outside while I can watch from a shaded porch makes it even better. See y’all again soon!

Great place on the capital trail! Many beer varieties and food selections! Had a band playing out in the distance that we couldn’t really hear with a folksy vibe. Def will be back!

Chicken salad wrap with curry was great. Wonderful unsweetened iced tea. Clean, reasonable and bike centered.

I absolutely love this place. It’s a great coffee shop with friendly staff and a very nice latte in a real mug. They have beer and wine also. They offer very interesting crafts for sale - a purse made from old bicycle tires caught my eye.
This is the coffee shop I would own if I was in that business.

Excellent place to replenish and rehydrate while traversing the capital trail. It is aso an excellent place to meet up before or after your bike ride or run. Food choice is limited (as it should be when seeking a quick bite) but options are broad and service is reliable. Lots of shade. Great atmosphere.

Stopped during a bike rode with my wife. Great Turkey and Brie sandwich. Large enough to split. Delicious, even for guys. Nice outdoor patio. Just off the capitol bike trail. Wine , beer, coffee. Very relaxed place to visit. Wish I had tried the sandwich before. Music on the back patio must be fun but we were too early to experience the event. I think you will enjoy visiting here.
