Holiday Inn Express & Suites Douglas, an IHG Hotel

We had two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room get huge! Very clean room and kitchen. The pool is not heated but is indoors. The breakfast was great too..they had a pancake machine, Greek and plain yogurt, cereal, milk, grits, oatmeal, turkey sausage, pork sausage, biscuits, gravy, cinnamon rolls, pastries, and hard boiled eggs. I had to wait about 20 mins when I needed the front desk in the middle of the day but aside from that it was a great stay.

We went to Douglas for a church campmeeting and stayed in the Holiday Inn Express.
Our experience was great and the staff was very friendly.
I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Douglas Ga.

I came into town around 9 am after being up 24 hours at work. I asked for an early check in to get some rest and they moved some things around and shortly I was sleeping in my room! They didn’t have to go out of their way to help me but they did and it was greatly appreciated! The room I got that morning smelled like cigarette smoke so when I woke up I mentioned it and they offered to move me to another room…which they did! Customer service at its best! I really appreciated their extra effort!

Way better than Hampton next door. Clean, shades close all the way to sleep dark, bed is comfortable, pillow choices, A/C was good and got cold. Breakfast is typical. Slept very well.

Our stay was very enjoyable. We were greeted and checked in by Camila. The beds in our suite were comfortable and the suite was clean and roomy for our family. The shower pressure was lacking, however it was clean and provided body and hair wash. The location is very central and is easy to get on and out of. The breakfast selection was plentiful, consisting of pancakes, biscuits and gravy, bacon or sausage eggs and an assortment of pastries and bagels. The only negative is that the breakfast seems to not be restocked after 845am. However, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very nice stay comfortable bed clean room and very quiet,couldn't ask for more.

I've been staying at this hotel for many years and it's a perfect location for someone traveling for work in the area. The staff at this location is always very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guest. Most recently this breakfast staff is doing an excellent job of preparing and having breakfast ready on time. I'll be back soon, Keep up the good work!!!

Room got 4 stars, it needed a little attention.
Seemed the tub been repaired and sounded like I would fall through.
Rest of the room was great.

July 3, 2022. Pros: The most fun hotel with an inside pool, gym a complimentary breakfast. We extremely enjoyed watching the pancake machine.

Cons: Saturday night, after a very long day at our family reunion, the lights went out in the bathroom. Not to mention I was in the tub and the lights popped and it smelled like smoke. The dangerous part is I couldn't see the door because I was wet. Trying not to panic we called the front desk on the room phone and cell server times, no answer. I kept smelling smoke....so we went to the front office.

Kathy was very instrumental in accessing the situation and giving us another room. Thank you Kathy for securing safety.

The inconvenience part was we were tired, kids were sleep and moving to another room was hectic at 10:30pm. Not very pleasant moving to another room with sleepy kids.

But,.....🤗👊🏽👶🏽🏊🏾‍♂🙏🏽
We really ENJOYED ourselves.
The breakfast was awesome. Thanks Dee for great food service.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Wesley Chapel, Tampa, Florida. Enjoyed myself again. Thank you Holiday Inn Express. You guys are getting something right.....

The hotel staff were awesome, the breakfast was ok, the lights in my room I had to hit the headboard to make them work, the water pressure left something to be desired but at least it was hot. I didn't say anything to the staff about any issues because I'm not a complainer, but if I had they probably would have fixed them right away. That's why they got 5 stars because like I said the staff are totally awesome here. I'm just hoping I get a different room that doesn't smell like mildew and a coffee pot that's not broke next week when I come back. And I wish they had a heated pool and hot tub, but there's nothing they can do about that.

My husband is a truck driver and travels once a week to GA for business. Because the hotel is so clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful, he tries to end his day in Douglas so he can stay here. The staff knows him by name, and because he stays there so often, they actually called him once to reserve his room because they were filling up so fast that day! That was super helpful, because not all hotels have ample parking for a semi and trailer, and he could have had a difficult time finding an alternate. That's just one of the many ways they go out of their way to be helpful. The management is awesome and we highly recommend this hotel.

This place has a great staff. Other than having a broken coffee pot and no water pressure and a light I have to smack the back of the headboard to get to come on my room is great. If I had said anything to them I'm sure they would have fixed it right away, but I'm not a complaining person so I just hope I don't get the same room next week. And I wish they had a hot tub and a heated pool but I'll deal. Like I said. I will stay here again as a matter of fact I'm coming back at least one more week maybe two.

Much improved since I was here last time a few months ago. Breakfast is back and as good as ever. The staff fixes your plate for you but that just makes it easier to get going. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Cheyenne and Jonathon helped me find a good spot to eat and were absolutely wonderful kind people. I will definitely be staying here again when I’m back this way.

Nice attentive staff, large clean rooms. Breakfast was nice, hot breakfast or cold. Sausages, biscuits were soft fluffy 😋 eggs or egg n cheese omelets pre made but ok.

Mostly quite. If you prefer less noise choose floor on upper level. Overall very nice hotel. I prefer here than others nearby and I've tried them all!

Visiting some new friends in the area. As soon as I entered the hotel I was greeted by a warm and welcoming smile from "Bonita" at the front desk. Registration was fast and very professional. The AGM Tammy Chaney was passing by and stopped to say hi. That is some good southern hospitality! The hotel did not spare any details to make you feel welcome. Lots of good details everywhere, and the complimentary breakfast was great! I enjoyed a few laps at the indoor pool. Great hotel overall. Kudos Holiday Inn!

We spend our evacuation from Hurricane Irma at this hotel and the staff was extremely courteous, accommodating, and worked diligently to keep everyone comfortable. The rooms here are large, clean and inviting. I sincerely appreciate all they did for us evacuees even when many of them had issues at their own homes from the storm.

i had a wonderful experience. i stayed for a whole week and the staff and front desk clerks Jenna/Toni were nice,professional, and attentive. when i checked into my room it was very clean and i loved all the upgrades it has. breakfast had a variety of different choices to choose each day. this is by far one of the best holiday inn hotels ive ever been too. keep up the Great Job!

I really enjoy staying at this property. The friendliness the employees show is very rare to find now a days. The breakfast is great. They offer fruit, pancakes, the awesome cinnamon rolls, and much more! Over all a great hotel!

This hotel was clean. This hotel has a spacious bathroom, two desk chairs, nice lighting, and honey they will make sure you have towels etc. Lol. I like that this hotel is located right by 4 restaurants, including Walmart, Sams club, catos, pizza place, Chinese food, dollar tree, cato its fashion etc. So you can definitely get a lot done or get the necessary items right in this hotel. I like that. The hotel is clean. Breakfast will get you on through remember its still a pandemic people.. So the cereal or oatmeal or a lil fruit. Other than that its very clean. It's quiet. We had a good stay.

I stayed here from 8 September through 13 September 2017 because I had to evacuate as a result of Hurricane Irma. They waived the no dog policy which was wonderful. They provided a wonderful hot breakfast every morning. They had internet. They cleaned rooms rooms everyday. They were at capacity and and still were above and beyond
