Gearhart By The Sea-Oregon Coast Resort

Room G716 - 4th floor. This was our second weekend getaway here at Gearhart by the sea. Our first in this particular condo. Here's a tip- scour the photos before booking. Condos are individually owned and some are updated more than others.
I was SO HAPPY the second I opened the door to 716. 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Immaculate! Cleanliness is a deal breaker for me and it was fresh and clean. Tons of seating, nice big dining table. Kitchen stocked with necessities. Coffee pot. The big patio provides a stunning view. Cozy and roomy. The owners take care wThe staff here are the best. So personable and start your stay with great vibes. If you stay before May the prices are amazing. Peak dates are 30% more per night!

The Staff when Checking in Were Super Friendly & Personable. Our Room was Very Clean & Spacious with a BEAUTIFUL VIEW. We Can't Wait to Come Back.

Great spot for an Oregon coast getaway in a sleepy little town, and reasonably priced. Book a room on the higher floor levels for a better ocean view. Short walk to the beach, access to a hot tub/pool, and right across from the McMenamins golf course if that’s your thing. This was not our first visit and it won’t be the last!

We enjoyed our stay at Gearhart House! I didnt catch the name of the lady who checked us in upon arrival, but she was super friendly and very helpful.

Our room (G693) was such a great spot. The online description was exactly as described. Plenty of room for the kids upstairs in the loft!

This was our first time staying at Gearhart by the Sea, and it definitely won't be our last! The kids loved the indoor heated pool, and we enjoyed the excellent ocean views as well!!

We've been here many times with our kids and extended family! So many fun memories!
The condos are older, but have always been clean and stocked with everything we need. The pool and hot tub are great. I know when we've stayed in the smaller building we were only able to use the small pool with no hot tub, so I recommend the big building with more options! Great view of the ocean! Friendly staff and just a quick walk down the trail to the beach!

This is the second time we have visited here and we love it. Great winter specials make it more affordable. We stay on the 4th floor and there are nice ocean views.

The staff couldn’t be friendlier and they are happy to help with any issues that arise. The units we have stayed in have been clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Gearhart by the Sea. We stayed in Unit 698 and it was fabulous. No kids or pets allowed, which worked for us.
Great view of the ocean (over some buildings, but still…) and everything was clean and neat. Just a couple of blocks to walk to the beach.

The staff was exceptional! Very friendly, helpful the one time we needed something, and they even gave us an anniversary card when they heard we were celebrating! Very nice folks who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Great location! Just step out your door, with your furry friend, walk over the sand dune, and wow, the mighty Pacific Ocean.

Our 3rd time staying here. The ladies in the office are so sweet & friendly. We absolutely loved spending our Christmas there this yr.

Tammy is the best person you will ever know and her staff is so helpful .👍👍👍 We’ve been vacationing at Gearhart by the Sea for over 43years and have loved it. The area is away from the noise of the city. So many things to do and we enjoyed driving on the beach and playing in the sand. Rm706 is a good choice. The view from the room is awesome. You can see the beach or watch the beautiful sunsets through the large windows or sit outside on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoy. We want to thank everyone for their outstanding hospitality over all these years. It’s time for us to say goodbye and wish everyone the best. Rich and Carole

While all units are individually owned, we lucked out with unit 30. Fantastic views, well kept grounds and a nice swimming pool. In addition, our unit was well stocked with a variety of linens, blankets and board games - how can you not have a comfortable stay! For a tip, while all properties are posted on both VRBO and Airbnb, we saved quite a bit booking directly with their front office. Shout out for the restaurant on the property if you didn’t feel like driving out to Seaside or Cannon beach.

We loved the 2 bedroom 2 bath layout. We also enjoyed the quiet location and the ocean view, but one of the main reasons we chose this unit was the ability to have our three four legged family members with us. It’s hard to find locations willing to allow that.

Only negative was being by the elevator. We heard the motor all nite long. Otherwise beautiful place. Well maintained. Clean. Huge. Semi good view of ocean.

I love staying here. The view is beautiful. It’s steps to the ocean. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. They have pet friendly condos. I was going to take my two dogs but I decided to leave them but it’s nice to know I have that option. Me, my daughter, and two granddaughters had a wonderful time. We were right next to the swimming pool which we utilized a lot during our stay. I highly Recommend this place.

Amazing staff. Amazing view. Amazing accommodations. We brought 3 generations for a couple days at the beach and this is the perfect spot. Easy access to the beach and McMenamins, plus local shops in Gearhart. Our favorite location by far!

Great view and location; best walking beach in Oregon. The resort is quiet, well appointed and very clean. Our room was pet friendly, but you wouldn’t know that- no pet smell at all! Lots of blankets, pillows, staff was friendly and welcoming. From inquiry to checkout, excellent service. I highly recommend Gearhart by the Sea!

We love this place! Come to stay at least once a year. Lots of options and close to entertainment without being right in the center of it.

Wonderful place to stay. Checking in we were made to feel like the staff knew us our whole life. The places are so nicely kept, and comfortable. The location is perfect with access to anything you need. It gas become our go-to getaway. We love it
