Rogers Inn Vacation Rentals

First I want to say, My kids and I love Seaside Oregon. We rented a house that was perfect for me and my family. We were only 2 blocks from beach and 3 from convention center and also located in a non busy area. The owner of the rental company was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming when we got there. The home was a 2 bedroom that would sleep 6 comfortably, with all amenities available to us. Better than a hotel and at the same price. I come there every year for National Dance Competition (my kids dance not me) and will continue to stay at Rogers Inns Facility.

I’m not sure what some of these low reviewers were expecting. The photos do the properties justice. You aren’t getting a five star place. You are getting a kitschy beach house that may not be fully appointed. In some cases shabby chic. You are paying for location and being able to walk everywhere. (In our case) As for Bobby, we had two issues and he was kind, funny and immediately responsive. He manages 60 properties on his own, so that was impressive. We would stay again.

Rented a house with 6 other women for the HAEDcon and it was awesome. Plenty of room and clean. Minutes from the beach and downtown.

The rooms were clean and set up well for multiple guests. Wifi signal was weak or did not work. Kitchen was prepared for cooking with almost everything needed for our planned meals.

Some of the cabins need updating. Overall a good time with clean homes that have everything you need for each room, bathroom and kitchen.

Neptune house is nice, clean, well stocked with standard supplies and close to downtown

The house was large, 4 bedrooms and plenty of room to host several families. The location is ideal, a very short walk to the beach. However the cleanliness of the house was questionable, perhaps because it is an older house. This place was also somewhat dustie.

This place is filthy! I liked the idea of staying in a house instead of a hotel but it's clear that they don't have any cleaning services!

Rented a house with some friends, it was not a pleasant experience. The house was not clean.
1. The floors left our socks black on the bottom
2. The cupboards had food on them
3. Missing tile on a wall
4. There was a loose tile right in front of the entrance door
5. The front door did not unlock with the keys provided.
6. A side door in the basement was unlocked, we didn't know it was there until day 2
7. Hot tub had sand all over the bottom and scum at the water line.
8. Cable did not work, only 3 channels came through.
9. Owner yelled about a call to his cell, though that was the only number provided
10. The floors are not level, lots of dipd and uneven areas.
11. Weird stains on the walls and mirrors
12. Capped wiring sticking out of the walls and dimming light switch with no knob.
13. Dog hair on the floor
14. Air hockey table with broken parts

Definitly will not rent from them again.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I wish there were a way to post no stars but one will have to do. Traveled to Seaside with my family. Booked a townhouse right by the rental office with 8 other members of my family. One positive note- they let us check in an hour early. We were not given enough towels for the 9 of us, especially considering we had a hottub nearby for our use. We only had 5 towels so we sent one of the kids to the office located across the driveway. No one was there but someone told him the towels were located ion the garage right by our back door. So he grabbed a few. The next day, the manager accused my sister of being a thief. My mom and I went into to the office to explain what happened and to try and make things right. The manager scared my mom. He was so angry and yelled at her so loud and violently, she thought he was going to come over the counter at her. I walked in a few minuted later and tried to give back some of the towels and explain that we didn't even have enough for the 9 of us. He continued to tell me that we were thieves and how dare we take towels. He said that each of the owners are separate and now the housekeeper was going to have to lock the garage because we are thieves. We tried our best to calm him and ask what we could do to make it right. He told us to stop stealing from him. Seriously???? We're talking towels!! The next day, while my aunt and uncle were visiting, my uncle had a grand mal seizure and we called 911. My mom went outside to wait for the ambulance and the manager came out to inform her that we cannot have any visitors at all. We are only allowed to have the 9 people that we checked in with and no more because it violated the fire code. Really? There's an ambulance there to check on my uncle and he behaves like this?? She was very upset by his demeanor and walked away telling him that this conversation is over. I then called the local fire department and spoke to the Fire Chief. He assured me that we were fine having people over to visit. He said it might be a problem if we had 50 people over. I had to laugh. That night our internet went out mysteriously. My brother-in-law went over to have him turn it back on and get some toilet paper, paper towels and garbage sacks. The manager started in again about the visitors so my BIL told him we spoke to the Fire Chief and we were fine with a few visitors. He then called my BIL a liar!! The nerve of some people. How does this guy, Bobby, still have a job????

Last rant- the house was dirty. The windows in my sisters room and my mom's room had huge amounts of mold. I wish I could post the pictures that I took. The place definitely could use a good cleaning.

Bottom line- AVOID Rogers Inn at all costs!
