The food is fantastic and staff is friendly. Food was quick to come out and was great. Ordered the fish and "chips" and would recommend it. If you are tired of french fries with your meal, these house made chips are amazing as they are made to order. The cheesy bread is also a good side to have for a comfort food.

It was awesome to see how much this place as changed in the years I have been away from home. It was even more awesome to know that even in my small home town there was gluten free options! I got the nachos, and was glad that I got a full not half order so I had some for at the hotel room back in Hamilton. Darby is only a short drive away, but worth it since there was not much available for those of us with Celiac Disease to eat at.

This was a great spot! The food was amazing and beer was so good. The best part was the service. So attentive and nice. I wish we lived closer to be able to come here all the time. We hope to visit again and will absolutely be stopping here for a bite and beer!

Great food, good prices, cooler seating area than next door (next door wanted us sitting in a “greenhouse” in 95 degree weather, paying $24 per plate for reheated microwave frozen meals), fast, fresh, friendly! Eat here!!!

(One minor note though…the menu prices are not as cheap as they say. Most things are $2 more then advertised. They need to update the menu. She did take $10 off my bill when I pointed it out, though, so I would still recommend them.)

Fish n chips were so good, everyone else in our group had stuff from the specials menu and loved the food!

Don't be fooled by the outside, sure there's an outdoor patio across the street BUT if you don't go here to eat, you are doing yourself a disservice!! The food is unbelievably delicious! All fresh, I had a Montana blue cheese and chicken salad and it was off the charts! The best blue cheese dressing I have had in ages! They make everything themselves! My husband had the fish and chips and the fries are fresh made, the fish was delicious! The batter was nice and light,not all greasy, and the fish cooked to perfection! We are heading back this way tomorrow and will be stopping again!!! Treat yourselves and go there!!! The service was great as well!!

The Darby Dip is one the best dips I've had in a long time. The brisket is perfect- tender, not chewy or tough, perfect smoke flavor.
Burger and fish and chips were great too. Service was great, nice beer selection.

The fish and chips are amazing, but the shoestring fries are where it’s at! The burgers are also HUGE, and delicious! My husband always orders a double but the waitress warned him a single would be enough and he barely finished it! Great prices too, we will be back:)

When we were in Darby for two weeks, we frequented this place multiple times as the food is great! Everything we had was so good! The bar was fun at night as well!

Great low key local place with excellent food. Had the special Fish and Chips and it was great. The Montana Blue salad is great as well.

I know it sounds crazy, but this was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Visited on 9/20/18 passing through during a long road trip with my wife and dog. The waitress let us sit at one of the tables out front with our pooch. Maybe the local MT beef is just that good. Or perhaps this place may just know how to grill one of the best burgers you will ever taste. Incredible!

I got a bacon BBQ burger. OMG THIS WAS AMAZING!! The BBQ Sauce was house made and beyond amazing.  The burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the fries and ranch were plenty. My friend had the blue cheese burger. It was fantastic! The fresh cut shoe string fries were seasoned and fried and were wonderful. The staff were friendly and the service was great!!

Great food, wife loves fish and chips, or salad, which is amazing with blue cheese dressing! Burgers are really great ad well! This place is a hidden gem! We drive 20 miles to rest there, passing many restaurants in the process! Go there, you'll be glad!

Excellent place for a night out. Nice newly remodeled dinning area with rustic style table settings a little pricey but fair. Equipped with a full bar attached to the dinning area. So get out have some dinner and maybe a few drinks to boot. The bar side has some gambling machines, pool tables for some fun, a jukebox to listen to some great music as well,and a lottery machine for those feeling lucky. Mike, the owner, was the best! He stayed open late for us to come into the restaurant when I called to order take out at 8:55 on a weekday on our way home from a river trip in late July. He said if we were hungry he would wait for us to come in and order in person. Such a kind gesture in a small town. Especially since there were no other options for us at that time of night. If we didn't live in Colorado we would be back all the time. Burgers were cooked perfectly and fries were fantastic. Thanks again!

Best pizza and burgers for 100 miles in either direction on hwy93. Blue Joint is a true hidden gem. Take a gander at the beautiful local art on the walls while you chow down. And don't forget to try the fish and chips, because they absolutely do not disappoint.

Unreal pizza. we got the Lurker and the Funky Chicken. Both were delicious, and the large pizza is more than worth it. I am the type of person who orders the family value pack as a meal for myself, and I was defeated after 2 slices. Next time I'm in Darby, I will certainly be back at the LBJ!

Friendly staff, great location and the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Plus a mighty fine cup of coffee. So glad we chose to go here during our trip to Darby!
