We have been staying at this motel for over 30 years. It has changed hands and name a few times, given a makeover or two over the years, but, we still love this place.
The Seaside Red Lion is a fun place to stay! The big indoor pool, off street parking, elevator, and having a friendly clerk 24 hr at it's large front desk are just a few of the perks! We love the breakfast 7-10am with waffle maker and hot biscuits and gravy! The breakfast room is well stocked with coffee, cocoa, toast, juice, yogurts, teas.... I love the fact I can stop in and get hot water/drinks any time of the day! They also have fresh cookies daily!
We stayed in a 3rd floor King Kitchenette with Jetted Tub River View room!!!! The sights and sounds on the river each day were delightful!
The staff are wonderful, and the place is spotless! You are close to everything around Seaside and off the main Hwy, so it's quiet! We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

Michelle at the front desk is AMAZING!!!! She found out it was my husband's birthday weekend and got to work making our stay the best experience. They decorated our room with beautiful rose pettles and confetti and a birthday sign and a bottle of sparkling cider, and so much more! Room was clean, staff very friendly. Will come back for sure!!!

Good place to stay, and it was within our budget. Friendly staff, nice continental breakfast as well. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our visit to Seaside.

The lobby, breakfast area and our room were all very clean. The bed was nice and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was clearly overworked (they appeared to be extremely short staffed) but she was still kind and helpful. She undoubtedly deserves a raise since she seems to be doing the job of multiple people! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

I came in very late with my mother and three crazy toddlers .they we’re in the middle of shift change and both very sweet and helpful. I couldn’t find a place that had openings or even a good rate . Cissy and the rest of the team helped me . The room was clean they brought an extra bed up and the next day breakfast was great and they even helped me with remote to put something on for my kids so they would calm down . My kids ran out of the room and down the hallway I was embarrassed but they didn’t judge . I had a great experience for spring break with my family . They are a wonderful team room was clean and towels folded fancy. Definitely coming back .

Well for us we say it was 5-star based on our experience with the place & staff. I would have to say I went into there very optimistic because of all the negative reviews I had read. The staff was very accommodating, and welcoming. We felt comfortable from the minute we walked in. We even booked a 4th night. We had peace & quiet the whole time there. The pool, hot tub, & sauna were available. The prices were inexpensive & breakfast was good. Our room was quite large and quite suitable for our needs. The location was within walking distance to the main attractions. I would have to say we were quite surprised with everything we experiences while staying there. A big thank you to all staff members. See you all next year.

This place was fantastic! From the lovely Halloween decorations to both of the very sweet and accommodating desk ladies! We came late and needed a nice place and wow were we surprised! Love the new bed linens, Ave the hot breakfast is better than the Marriott! This is now our go to spot in Seaside! Shilo In move over..... There's a new contender in town!

Pool! (The spa in the picture is now closed) Awesome customer service! Huge breakfast! Pleasant clean room (I had a river view and kitchen), the police station is actually across the street so it’s super safe, and a central location steps to the beach and restaurants 10/10 recommend

Words will never Express the gratitude for the ladies who work here. General manager MT is amazing and so kind as well as Sherry, Angel and Andi. Stayed a few days and they dont know me.. going thru heal issues and these ladies were more then amazing to me! Highly recommend just because they treat people right! Not easy to find in this broken world 💜✝🎗💪

Highly enjoyable indoor hot tub with strong jets & heated indoor pool; both filled with salt water (not chlorine!)
Handmade fresh waffles for free for breakfast + coffee, hot chocolate & juice.

Walking distance to Beach & mind-blowing cool shops, carousel, etc.

Hotel is very outdated rooms are worn down .Not pet friendly as their is no where for pets to use bathroom unless you go to back of building,which is scary.If they used some of the money they made from every one staying could have potential.

Michelle is the best! Easy check in and knowledgeable about the area! Room rates are unbeatable and the rooms were clean. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you again Michelle for your amazing customer service! :’)

So far everything has been great. Dakota was very friendly & gave us a 20% discount because the a/c in our room was broken. Room is great other than that tho. Bed is really comfy, lots of pillows. There's a mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, & iron/ironing board. The jacuzzi was fantastic. The dial for the jets says minutes but I turned it to 15 & was in there for over 30 & it still had 5 left. The door to the bathroom sticks & another guest got stuck in it. The overnight girl didn't seem as friendly. When I told her he was stuck she just said, "um I'll have to call the manager. I don't know what to do." Thankfully his girl pushed on the door really hard & got it open. I'll update in the morning after we checkout.

The employees are wonderful! Very personable and willing to go the extra mile for the guests. Quiet and peaceful. Great beds! Big rooms! And the pool and hot tub is open from 8am to 11 pm. .

My family of four stayed this weekend. The rooms were clean, complimentary candy, breakfast was great, and a good price for our last minute decision. Chrissy was PHENOMENAL!!!! Great customer service. This will be our hotel from now on!

From beginning to end this stay was safe, cozy and delightful. The staff runs a smooth ship. Both the lady for night shift (Crissy) and the gentleman at the desk in the morning (we missed his name) we’re so lovely to work with. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back again!

Gorgeous and the best night's sleep on that mattress! Really clean and comfortable (not super sanitized smelling at all!). Just wish the pool reno had been done. Also, luxurious hot shower and charcoal body and facial soap. The soaps and lotions were incredible. Zero guilt for taking them with us after. Still using it 😌

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in or near the Seaside, Oregon area. We brought a ton of stuff (for food prep etc so we wouldn’t have to eat out) and was really thrilled to find that the rooms are some of the biggest I’ve stayed in and there was a great counter area with the fridge and microwave. Almost like a bar- type set up. We had no problem staying organized with plenty of room for three adults.

The continental breakfast is hands down the best for any hotel.
They have the typical sweeter food items (cereal, waffles, yogurt, etc) but they also have some assortment of eggs, potatoes, sausage/bacon, and even biscuits and gravy on the weekends! You’ll save a ton of money by staying here since the breakfast is hearty.

The pool and hot tub is open until 3am!
The staff is INCREDIBLY helpful, accommodating, kind and personable. They were so polite and obliging to my many odd requests, a few of them they went out of their way to meet.

The parking is plenty and feels very secure as it is well lit and easily monitored.

With the staff, the big rooms, accessibility, close proximity to downtown with being in the midst of congested people and cars, and the best breakfast of any hotel I’ve stayed at ... I can easily say we will be back and will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Stayed in seaside for the weekend. Friendly, courteous staff at our check in. Clean, comfortable room. We slept very well, which is the highest compliment to a hotel. Lots of seabirds to watch in estuary from our room window. There was a cyclonic storm along the oregon coast, making beautiful breakers in the estuary. Aside from their destructive power, we do love to watch the elements during a fall or winter storm along the coast. Power went out for a short time. Compliments and thanks to desk manager this morning at 10 a.m....she made a pot of fresh brewed coffee for me and offered to get me some more bagels if I wanted them, because the power outage had interrupted breakfast! Very nice, very friendly! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!! Thank her and acknowledge her and the rest of this wonderful staff!
