A wonderful shop with a lot of great-priced “starter pieces.” Lots of variety in terms of style and most of the pieces were great quality, old-school furniture made with care, as opposed to your standard IKEA pieces.

With everything being second-hand be mindful of the stains and scratches. A lot of the pieces could do with a good refurbishing, but that’s part of the fun in shopping here.

Admittedly, the store appeared a little on the empty side when I visited. Some of the shelves were barely filled, but like all thrift stores it’s nice having a strong turnaround in product and seeing everything that comes in.

While this store is a little far for me, I’m looking forward to stopping in again and beginning my home decorating journey at an affordable cost.

Awesome place, love the concept and the reduction of waste and they have great affordable options.

Wow. What an amazing place and team of people! The good work is being done here. I can’t remember the brother who helped me when I walked in and woman who helped me find Tom…. But all of them are amazing. The two gentlemen who helped me from the truck were so pleasant and kind. Thank you.

I absolutely ❤ love "Habitat Dutchess Restore" in the Nine Mall which is located in Wappingers Falls. There's so much used furniture to look through from couches, end tables, nightstands, lamps, bedroom bureaus, dining room tables and chairs, desks and so on and so forth. 😄
I have shopped here and found amazing bargains! I brought a very long bedroom bureau with an attached mirror, a smaller bureau, a desk and a bedside nightstand. For example, I paid only $15.00 for the desk which was in excellent condition. Of course, prices can be higher than that depending on exactly what you're buying.
Some of the furniture pieces might have a knob missing, some scratches or some type of wear and tear. However, there's some furniture that looks almost new because it's in such good condition.
Habitat of Dutchess Restore does not deliver any furniture so you will need to make your own arrangements to get your purchases home. You will need someone who is capable of lifting heavy furniture and a vehicle big enough to fit all of it.
They will hold your furniture aside in the store until you pick it up but there is a time limitation. If you don't get it done in that time frame then whatever you brought will go back on the sales floor. So basically, you will be donating what you already paid for in advance.
Sorry I don't remember how much time they allow you to keep your furniture on hold but the salesperson or even the cashier will tell you.
In conclusion, I highly recommend shopping here. You have nothing to lose by going there and seeing for yourself. Chances are you could find something worthwhile.
Oh I almost forgot to explain the picture I posted. There's a bureau that you will see and it shows the used bureau I brought from Habitat Dutchess Restore. I use it as a TV 📺 stand. It is in great condition and I got it for a steal.

First time there and what an assortment of stuff .

A great place for a great cause. I had an issue with scheduling a pickup on the website. The store manager personally helped me and is an awesome guy. Unbelievable deals on very nice items...some new! I will shop here before looking elsewhere.

For donations go to the loading dock in back. They only accept items until 3:30 plus they will inspect them , so they won't accept everything. The shore has a large selection of electric outlets, plumbing and other building materials as well as household items.

Great store & better than Goodwill. Steve, a volunteer, was very helpful and the staff/volunteers there are great. Buying from this store benefits the community and local affordable housing efforts.

One of my favorite places to frequent. I can always find quality items at great prices for an even greater cause. We even donated our car. The donation process was a breeze and I highly recommend it. The volunteers make make your day! A wonderful addition to our community!!❤

friendly staff, very reasonably priced. i have found a lot of beautiful items here. i try to go relatively often, and always speak highly of it to friends and family

I got a beautiful mint condition couch for $85, a table and 4 chairs for $100 also a coffee table for $40 beautiful conditions. The price were very reasonable and the condition was great. I love the store I go at least twice a week if not more. Things go quick .

Worth every penny spent.

They are so helpful in restoring and taking donations. They let you know what they can't take, like pillows and fabrics and maybe out of season decor.
And you get a receipt for donations too.

It was was easy to find. Plenty of parking was available. The store is all on one level with a well laid out and organized floor plan. The inventory of household furniture was very good. It will not take you long to find a particular type of furniture you may want for your house. It has more than furniture.

They have a wide selection of products, some new, mostly used but its a good deal if they have what your looking for. I just purchased 2 new lower cabinets and a used counter top to make myself a storage bench in my garage.

The Restore, no matter what county it’s located is our place to go to. If need to visit regularly as the goods are always changing. It’s such a true rule of thumb; he who hesitates fails to get the good bargains!
