Prattsville Diner

I got the Apple Cinnamon Pancakes with a side of bacon. It was pretty good. It’s a cute diner with a country ambiance. I recommend it. Just make sure you bring cash because they don’t take credit cards.

We stopped here on our way back from Cooperstown; good food, (one of the few places where the coleslaw is actually enjoyable!) generous portions, and wonderful atmosphere. The server was very pleasant. Diner was clean considering we arrived an hour before closing. I was impressed that even though closing time is 2pm none of the staff complained when diners came in 15 minutes prior. As an added plus there was plenty of room in the back lot to park our camper rig, and there's actually YooHoo in the cooler!

We stopped by here after a hike and swimming in the Schohaire Creek. We were hungry and this place absolutely hit the spot. They served us tons of food, were super friendly, and kept it coming with the bottomless iced teas. Total classic American dinner. Would stop by to refuel if you are in the area. Great value! 😁

We had the garden and ham/mushroom/swiss bowls. Both were cooked perfectly as requested (home fries well done and eggs over medium) and delicious. Good coffee and service, too!

It was January of 2018… four friends showed up to what is still considered the greatest diner we have ever been to. Nothing will ever top the authentic delicious breakfast we were served. We talk about this place as though it’s Bethlehem and we are the disciples following the stars to Jesus’s births- it’s that good. God speed and Godbless this place

Love the food here and the staff is always super friendly and welcoming! Sausage gravy is out of this world. And trust me when I say taste the biscuits!

Decided to stop here while traveling because parking lot was full, always a good sigh of good food, and because we were hungry. Crowded so we sat at the counter, ordered Rubens and a drink from friendly waitress. Within a few minutes she came and got our drinks and moved them and us to a table behind us that had just been emptied and cleaned. Nice move, bigger tip, lol.
If I lived close by I'm sure I would be there frequently as we were made to feel welcome and right at home. Did I say the Rubens and coleslaw and Mac salad were delicious? Yes they were and for $40. Including a very nice tip.

My friends and I were traveling through and we stopped and had lunch. It was one of the best lunches on a road trip that we’ve done in many many years. I highly recommend this stop for anyone who is hungry with a great atmosphere and great service.

Great service. Got a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with disco fries and let me tell you it hit the spot. New management is on point. Servers are great and have great feel for their customers. I’ve been coming here for 30 years and what a difference from last owner. These people care for their customers and deserve repeat business. Looking forward to many more meals to come.

Best biscuits and gravy!!! The mushroom swiss burger is on point!! The food was amazing and inexpensive. Service was a delight, staff was seen cleaning and being very friendly with guests. I can't wait to come back and have their sausage gravy on pancakes. Apparently, it's a patron fav!

Stop by for breakfast and end up having a brunch! 😋

The staff was so kind and welcoming, they made our family trip all the better. Both waitresses were fun, helpful and friendly. The servings were large and they were very accommodating to a variety of preferences. The food was well priced and tasty.
