Mangia Macrina's Wood Fired Pizza

We actually had Magia Macrina's food truck at our wedding! Pizza was delicious - we had an amazing selection to choose from, and everyone raved about the food. Apps and salads were also amazing, thank you for making our day special!

Absolutely fantastic place. I cannot speak well enough of it. Staff were fantastic, pizza was literally perfect, beer was delicious, and the owner went out of his way to chat with me and my family at length. All around a wonderful place to go and a welcome addition to Utica.

By far the best pizza I have had n a looong time.. the staff were super friendly.. I highly recommend their pizza as well as the italian soda.. mmmmm.. beyond satisfied customers here..

This food truck didn’t lose a step in preparing delicious pizza combinations for fans. Mangia does some things very very well: a crafty beer list, fantastic and tasty combos on fluffy dough, quick and friendly service. The place/decor feels a bit sterile, and while it’s a bit pricey for the size of the pie, the food’s quality certainly justifies the price.

Mangia Macrina's pizza truck was the perfect addition to our welcome dinner for our wedding. The food was absolutely endless and delicious - everyone was so thrilled! We also appreciated them driving on a slim dirt road and setting up shop like complete pro's!

Love it! The best wood fired pizza on earth. The main menu is great, but they always have awesome and creative specials to choose from. There's also great options for vegan and/or gluten free restrictions. They also have a great craft beer selection to round out the meal. Service is always fast and friendly. A favorite for me and my husband.

My partner and I have been eating here for lunch regularly since she got her job in New Hartford. The specials are always worth trying, these folks constantly push the envelope, and the risk is your reward. They also boast six taps of beer and cider that rotate constantly, so, there's always something fun to pair your pizza with! Besides the ever changing specials menu, their faithful (and large!) selection of classic pizzas will keep you coming back. I'm currently ordering the menu one by one, from top to bottom so I can say I've had everything on it!

Love that they have gluten free options and it was so delicious. Wish it wasn't an extra 4 dollars for gluten free but in this area I'll take what I can get!

Best kept secret wood fired pizza joint in the area! You can tell they know what they are doing by the way the pizza tastes! The ingredients they use are top of the line which makes all the difference in the world! Nice place to eat because it is well taken care of. And……..they have wobbly pop too!

Everything about this place is amazing. The pizza is delicious! Very fresh and flavorful while not heavy. The owner and staff are great. Super fast. Highly recommended.

A great family environment to unwind and enjoy a cold carbonated sip of San Pellegrino followed by good old-fashion fresh hot pizza.

My (now!) husband and I first hired Mangia Macrina's pizza truck for our rehearsal dinner in 2019....then came the pandemic. We were finally married this past weekend (4/9/22) and it was an absolutely magical experience.

Through it all, Mangia Macrina (and Chris) was extremely professional and amazing. Through two postponements, they were accommodating and consistently quick to reply to any communications. They were always super clear, and their pricing was incredibly reasonable.

On the day of the rehearsal dinner, we were beyond impressed. They accommodated our guests' dietary needs and everyone raved about the antipasto/caprese on a stick and the pizza. Everything went seamlessly.

I thoroughly recommend Mangia Macrina as a caterer -- I only wish I lived closer so I could eat their food more often!

Such well crafted and created pizza. The food that is turned out is picture perfect and tastes great. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to those who appreciate good clean food. They also do catering and parties with their food truck. Service is great. Well worth a stop in for a bite to eat.

Fantastic pizzas! The wood-fired pizzas cook in less than 2 minutes, and there's an impressive selection of toppings - the hot soppressata is highly recommended if you like spicy food! Gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegetarian options are available, and they're delicious! But if you like cheeses and meats, they're highly recommended, too. Roasted garlic and roasted peppers round out the great selections!

We had some gift cards to spend so went out looking for some place we hadn't been(with a.c.). We'd had their food truck food and enjoyed it, the restaurant didn't let us down. So many options to choose from, it won't be long before we're back. A good looking list of craft beer to go along with the food. The staff was extremely friendly. The restaurant was incredibly clean. Check it out if you haven't, it's a unique utica dining experience.

Wood fired pizza! Great craft beers on tap. Atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Staff are friendly and helpful. In an area known for pizza, it is hard to stand out and they have done it. Go and enjoy.

We love Mangia Macrina, it is one of our favorite places to eat. Their wood fired pizzas are unlike any other we have had. The Rocket is my favorite, and their specials are always creative and delicious. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and they have a great selection of beer, wines and sodas as well.

No menu available online, but after contacting them to let them know the download wasn't working the owner quickly uploaded to FB. Thin, crispy, light on toppings, but big on taste. They offered amazing customer service and substitutions on the menu toppings. They were also kind enough to offer military discount, which is kind of rare around here, especially with pizza places! Kuddos for your support! Unfortunately I have no food photos because it was devoured so ravenously! We ordered the Greco, Verona, and capresse salad! All delicious! I subbed the black olives on the Verona for artichoke hearts, thanks for the recommendation! I would definitely recommend ordering one pizza per person, leftovers are a plus, better too much, than not enough! I have frequented your establishment many times at Woodland brewery and so thankful you found a great brick and mortar location to serve us all!
