2024 update: Still going strong and has come out of the supply chain crisis better than ever. Fully stocked again with the same great service. Good shoes and good service are worth the price and the drive. Professional and friendly as always. Recommended!

I went to Brown's Shoe Fit Co. due to other places not having size 14's available. It was a great decision! As soon as I walked in I was greeted, and was asked if there was anything I needed. I informed them what I was looking for and they showed me to the area of the store that pertained to me. After showing me to the area the associate let me look around on my own and made sure that he was available to me if I had any questions.

That same associate helped me get the shoes I wanted out of the back and helped me at the register. The associate was personable, friendly, and never over-bearing. Please, if your looking for some great looking shoes at a fair price, give these guys a try instead of just going online and purchasing them from Amazon.

I had the best customer service at Browns! I went there in search of a good pair of shoes to support my feet in a career where I am constantly on them. I had no idea what I wanted or needed. The sales rep was very patient and educated. When I was hesitant about cost he helped me look through clearance. I left unable to make a decision when I went back a couple hours later ready to buy he continued his outstanding service. I couldn't be happier. Thank you

I need good quality shoes for my job, as I am standing and walking all day. Previously I have blindly picked out shoes from places like Famous Footwear and DSW, not really knowing what to look for. However, when I went to Brown's, the salesperson was able to quickly identify the type of shoe I needed based on how my feet rotate naturally, and I feel good about the pair I walked away with. If you want good service and expertise, go here instead of a big chain shoe store.

Great customer service from the staff. This is the only store we could find dress shoes for a men's size 15 in stock. Will definitely visit again!

We needed shoes that could help correct gait and offer ankle stability post-surgery, and Brown's was the only place that had what we needed.
Tim was the one who helped us and not only did he have multiple, useful suggetsions of brands and types of shoes but he also took the time and personally helped us find exactly what we were looking for.

This is the best shoe store in grand island. Such knowledgeable people. The days of shoe fitting are fading which is sad because its SO IMPORTANT. If you want quality footwear and have any problems with your feet or standing you NEED to come here. They will solve your problems. My feet and back problems are so much better due to their knowledge and recommendations of footwear.

Great salesman to help deal with my 90 yr old Mother in law buying shoes for the 1st time in years. She is boisterous & he kept up with her quite well. It was a great experience.

Want to get away from ordering shoes online? Go to Brown's in Lincoln for some great customer service and a nice selection of shoes. Just like the good old days...pick out some shoes and a friendly salesperson helps you try them on. I buy all of my shoes there...New Balance and Brooks for exercise, Clark's and Neil M for work. Also nice selection of Smartwool socks.

Just went to Browns for the 1st time and I was blown away by the amazing service. I was greeted at the door and Chase answered all my question and showed me options in all price ranges. He made it so easy, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes! Thank you so much! I will be back.

Great shoe store. The salespersons are very nice. The salesperson still measure your feet a practice that is rare now a days. Brown's also back up there shoes that they sale. Stop in and see them.

Good quality shoe selection. Amazing closeout shoe rack (Mephisto, Ecco, XC4, etc.). Staff is very focused on what is good for your feet, not selling cute shoes to everyone.
