Local breakfast gem! If you're looking for a small local eats that feels like small town getaway near the city, this is it. This is one of our favorite spots for breakfast but get there early cause their hours are limited. Most weekend mornings can be pretty busy and expect to wait a little, but again it's definitely worth a wait fir the smothered mountain Kirby.

My family visited on a Saturday morning ~9:30. It is a small place and the only negative I have is that the seating is small. We are 4 larger people and the booth was cramped. We solved that issue by confiscating the next table to split our group. And our server was very gracious about that! For the amount of food you get, the prices are very reasonable. They do not appear to salt & pepper the food, presumably to allow one to season to taste. No problem- there are salt & pepper shakers on the table. My caramel roll was 5-6" in diameter and came with whipped butter. Next time I'll ask them to heat it up first but it was yummy! Our server, Amanda was a ray of sunshine. (They should clone her.)
The atmosphere is small town friendly, the food is good and well worth the trip!

Fantastic little cafe in Newport, excellent food & service👌First time visit will not be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ham Eggs Benedict, hollandaise sauce was lights out! My associate is disabled and they made quick & easy accommodations as well😁I’ll be back

Small-town diner vibes to die for, just 10 minutes south of St. Paul. The person who greeted and served me was very warm and sweet. Steak and Eggs with toast and hash browns plus a Diet Pepsi came out to just $18.56. Will be back here for sure!

Had the Philly Omelette. It was exactly what I expected, a delicious hearty rendition of a philly cheese steak in a generous wrapping of eggs. The onions and peppers made it a delectable mouth-watering experience that forced me to slow down and savor every bite. It's only 9:20am and I am already full for the day! Highly recommend for an intimate diner cafe setting.

Small interior, big atmosphere. The staff and food are amazing. Never had a bad meal here. Even getting told my gf was cheating on me didn't ruin how good the Buffalo Chicken tasted.

The servers are the sweetest in the entire Twin Cities!
The food was tasty but a bit salty (had the Ruben and a house made soup, both were salty) Coffee was not great.

The food is always wonderful. My kids love the pancakes and they can get bananas on them. The Mexican omelet is my personal favorite while subbing a pancake for toast and my wife’s favorite is the eggs Benedict The pancakes are light a fluffy yet filling. Park Cafe is a definite family favorite.

Want here on a spur of the moment. Got here at about 11 A.M. or so, and it was very busy. Just a heads-up.
We waited for a seat for maybe five minutes. Their breakfast options were quite a bit, to the point it took a few minutes to figure out what we wanted.
The server, though very busy, was super friendly and nice.
When the food came out, we were taken aback by the size of the meal. Way more than we thought! It was incredible!
My omelet was delicious. And the hash browns? Perfect! Crunchy and soft, just perfect!
Oh, and before I forget. The coffee was absolutely superb! It was just a regular cup of coffee, but it was awesome.
I highly recommend you stop in here for breakfast some time.
I hope this helps. Cheers!

Best breakfast place in the Cities, no the State, no the Country, no the ENTIRE WORLD!! Seriously I love this place. Tasty food, ample portions, and the friendliest staff of any restaurant I have been to.

Cute, small, friendly diner with amazing food and great service for a good price. This little diner is tucked away from the freeway but is well worth the search. The coffee is amazing and so is the food, its like walking into a diner in the 80s and your grandma works there so the food's amazing, its a bit weird but in a good way. I went here with my dad and quite a bit of nostalgia hit him, made him really happy. Will be coming back again, hopefully to try those gigantic pancakes i unfortunately only saw while walking out!

Tiny little breakfast place that does it right. The employees work their butts off to give you great service. The food is ridiculous and if you want a caramel roll, better get there early.
If you want to go back to the days where your server knows your name and actually cares about the food they make, be sure to give this little place a chance. You won’t regret it.
Also, try the smothered mountain.

My husband and I were looking for a little hometown diner for breakfast and randomly landed here. Perfect place. Food is affordable and abundant. Traditional breakfast fare.

What really warms your heart here is the waitress who knows the customers by name and tells a joke of the week. We’ll have to come back next week for a new joke! I’d you like small town diners and a little taste of home - stop in!
