Miss Wakefield Diner & Gracie's Country Store

Enjoyed the silver dinner experience. Brings back the nostalgia from my youth and the days of working for Mom and Pop small town business. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The service was fast and the food was great. The portions were great. Thank you for the memories!

This was my first time at this place. I saw lots of people eat here and enjoy it! We got two Reubens with fries, and a chicken finger plate with fries. Also, Onion Rings. My son had a mishap with his bottled drink and I got soaked. The waitress was sooo helpful. She saw it and ran over with towels to help us. Within probably 10 minutes our food came out. Best fries I've had in a long time, Tastes like home made! Such a cute diner. I love the old style of it! The little country store is so cute! What we heard they changed the diner around, so I don't know how it was originally. My son loved the moose out front too lol

You know it's a serious cup of coffee when it comes in no nonsense paper. Best Ruben around. Scott, the owner, has run Miss Wakefield's for over 20 years, and he said he's had a lot of ppl stop in recently saying they've always drove past but now just stopped in.

He makes his hash from scratch. The beef for the Ruben is boiled in house and shaved thinner than paper. The sauerkruat had a nice sweetness about it too

Not sure why there's complaints about the order at the counter and food is delivered to your table system they have here. It's quick, efficient and gets you back on the road swiftly. We loved it. Food was good, staff was friendly. Would def recommend you check it out on your journeys. Cute lil gift shop too! We'll def be back next time we come to NH!

We found Miss Wakefield coming back to RI from my son’s house in Conway. We were trying a alternate route from 93 . At first the pay in the gift shop before you eat system at the diner threw us a curve. Once inside the atmosphere and food were fabulous. Not having to wait for a check made it worth it. I had something I’ve always wanted to try; Chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs. My wife had eggs Benedict, both great. The owner came out and asked us how everything was and we ended up having a long conversation. He’s a very engaging and interesting person. We visit my son a few times a year and now we have a favorite spot to enjoy good food .

Great food, friendly staff, good prices, awesome atmosphere. I got the breakfast sub with home fries, it was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing!!! The food is wonderful, the prices are great, and the gift shop is just charming with an incredible selection and excellent customer service; the shop keeper is very kind and helpful.

A very well-known, homey diner worth stopping into in the area. Very kind folks, a cute gift shop in the front, and a concise breakfast menu, so everything is good! The iced coffee was especially tasty (Boston's best blend). Highly recommended to all passing through or locals!

Classic diner and food! Got the chicken fried steak and eggs. Homemade raisin toast too! Chatted with the cook/owner while I ate, I'll be back again!

This is a great spot to stop for breakfast. We came here because of their outdoor seating to accommodate our two dogs. The staff were very friendly. The food was good and came out of the kitchen quickly. They also have a nice shop full of candy and merchandise that would be great as gifts.

Good breakfast food! Occasional long wait times during prime time but that's the same for most local breakfast places, especially during the summer. Great bulk candy selection. The jars have a gaskets that keep the candy fresher than other bulk candy places. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping here!

My favorite place around the White Mountains to stop in and grab breakfast or lunch. Since COVID they’ve switched from table service to ordering at the register but the service is always speedy and everyone is so friendly and inviting. It can get busy but it’s always worth the wait!

I've lived in NH my whole life and never have had the honor of eating at The Wakefield Diner. It was definitely worth it and ill be a returning customer. The price, portion, tastes and service were all perfect. Don't hesitate, visit this establishment frequently!
