Duffy's Auto Service

We have lived in Saint Paul Park for 6 years and have used Duffy's service on multiple vehicles. They are always honest about needed repairs and give good advise for repairs that may need to be done in the future. They are never pushy about services. They always fixed my vehicles quickly, professionally, and with high quality. The most recent repair was a couple of weeks ago when a squirrel ate several of my spark plug wires. They got my car fixed days before the initial estimate. Excellent work and AAA discount on labor was an added bonus. Thanks Duffy's for trusted auto repair. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Duffys was able to get me in last minute. My oil pressure sensor was faulty. There was a bit of a hassle, nothing of their fault, just with parts arriving and then confusion (on my end) with the warranty. The part where the 5 stars comes in, is that they gave me a loaner, my car left their shop and I was able to continue using the loaner for over a week at no charge. This was so kind and most definitely something they didn't need to do. I would recommend Duffys, especially if you like to support local.

After reading reviews on this page I find I have to air some information I'm concerned about. I brought my truck into Duffy for an engine lite that was on, automatic diagnostic test, I know that has to be done. They told me I needed a coil,spark plugs,and a module the price would be 2,200 out the door. It will be a week they have had it. I got a call that I thought was to pick up the truck, it was Trevor calling to tell me they had to hold my truck for another part and now the out the door price is 2,854. I've given Duffys a 5 rating in the past, but if this bill stands I'm taking it to 3 Ford garages and get get estimates to what they would have charged. So I will repost when I receive my truck and the bill. I've be going to Duffys for 30 hrs and hope to continue. It would be great to give them another 5 stars.

Wonderful shop, very thorough on explaining everything related to a customer’s vehicle. Got my vehicle in right away fixed what needed to be fixed. Tim was amazing on letting me know what my truck needed and took care of it. Duffys Auto Service has my 5 stars and the mechanics are very professional. Duffy's provided great service. The repairs were quick and they found a much cheaper solution to our problem, after a higher cost repair had been authorized. It is hard to find integrity like this in a repair shop, but these guys have integrity and it shows!

Servicing my car at Duffys was honestly such a great experience. As someone who isn’t very privy to auto maintenance and terminology, Tim took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. The entire experience felt like honesty and customer service was #1, which is very refreshing to experience. I never felt like I was being “pushed” into services that weren’t absolutely needed at the time, but made aware of them for future service. This is the first time I’ve been to Duffys since the original owners had sold, and the same great service is there! I will definitely be coming back for future maintenance. Thank you, Duffys!

I'll tell you what, Duffy's has consistently done great work on my vehicles. Also when other shops quote $5k+, they got it done around $2k. Friendly, quick, and professional. I really appreciate this shop.

Like that they are a locally owned full service gas station, which is rare these days. Looking forward to see the future expansion. Had a couple tires mounted. They have a full range of auto repair services. Definitely will be back.

Love this auto repair shop. They got me in right before I had an issue to leave town. Found the issue was not what another shop stated was wrong.. which was over $2,000 as an estimate. They fixed the correct issue for less than $800. Even showed me the bed part that was replaced! Truck drove like a gem after their repair! Thank You Duffy’s!! I very highly recommend this shop!! Trustworthy and reasonable! Hard to find a place like this these days!! You’re my new shop!!

I took my car in for an oil change and the inspection showed my back brakes needed cleaning and adjustment. The cost was reasonable so I had it done. When I picked up the car to drive it home I could not believe the difference and feel so much safer on the road. I highly recommend Duffy's for auto repair and maintenance. Always great timely service. Ability to work on domestic and foreign vehicles of all types. Have a gas station so you can do after hours pickup until 10pm.

Great communication and explanation of what services were performed and what needed to be done. Chris did a very thorough inspection and review of our vehicle so we knew exactly what was going on with it.

After hearing many positive things about Duffy's, I decided to give them a try, and have them inspect a used car that I was going to buy. For a reasonable cost, they did a very thorough inspection of the car, and gave me a full report with comments and photos of the things wrong with the car. When I went to go pick up the car, put the mechanic took the time to fully explain a few things in the report and made sure that I left there fully informed. This experience has shown me that there are still good automotive repair shops in this world. Will I return? Most definitely!

I am incredibly thankful that I went to Duffy’s. My kids car needed a lot of work and they were very honest and had great communication with me on anything that was needed outside from the quote. I went there to get an inspection done for a car I was thinking about buying. Service tech Derick did a thorough job of inspection and also gave me a full detail reports with pictures of what needed to be fixed. I was impressed by their service and transparency. They have fair prices with friendly service. Will not hesitate to bring my car there to be serviced. Keep up the good work Duffy's
