Broadway Bar & Grill

I'd driven past here many times and never gone in. I thought I'd finally try it. And man, I'm mad at myself for not doing it sooner.

The atmosphere is low key, no pressure. Just easy to find a seat and relax.

Our server was top notch. When we explained that we had never been there, she was more than happy to answer any questions and also make suggestions. Plus, she was on the ball for coming back and checking on us. Not the every "five seconds" where you become frustrated. Nope, she was great.

The Broadway Burger with Cajun fries was awesome and we really enjoyed it. Everything was cooked just perfect, not over or under done. Just right. The Cajun fries were delicious and had that perfect amount of zip.

The prices are beyond reasonable. There's nothing worse than leaving a place and feeling like you were robbed. Not here. Very reasonable prices.

We ordered takeout for 7 people using their online ordering tool. It lacked some capabilities (adding/removing ingredients from burgers) but overall it was a smooth experience. Our order was ready when it was supposed to be and it was accurately prepared. I've learned to drop my standards with other restaurants when it comes to takeout, but the food we got from Broadway was excellent. My wife's cheeseburger was delicious and my Turkey Club Wrap was great! We'll definitely be returning customers!

At the Broadway, the food is very good and priced right. Arlo was bartending and provided outstanding service and conversation. The atmosphere defines a " small town bar." Check out the website for a variety of events, food menu, drink specials, bingo, and live music.

It’s a dive bar. But for a dive bar, it’s fun. Never too loud either! Staff is always polite

We've always had good service and food at Broadway, but today we had Kelsey as a server. She was probably the best server we've had anywhere in years! She was attentive, polite, had a sense of urgency, and was a real pleasure to meet! Broadway may be my favorite dive bar now!

A small town bar. Good drinks, very good food with daily specials. Breakfast on Sunday. Old school charm of a bar. We're not chain fans. And small town is where it's at!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Waitress was prompt and very pleasant, explaining it was her first day on the job. She did an excellent job. Food was very good and we will return again.

First time here…fantastic experience! Great food. Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff all around. Wings were great. Broadway burger and the walleye special were even better.

Special shout-out to Terri on pulltabs, server Josie, and the owner, Ray. Terri was my first contact in the place. I got back to the table and told my boyfriend it was the nicest pulltab person I’d ever talked to. Then she was genuinely happy for us when we actually won. Josie made sure we never had to wait and food always came out piping hot. Ray came around and bought a round of drinks for us. Can’t say more how welcoming it was here.

Can't say I've ever eaten inside here, but the food is good enough!
Only been since COVID started and we wanted to support local places and this was one of the first places we tried.
The burgers were great, but the appetizers were AMAZING!
I highly recommend the Fried Pickles, if that's your thing.

We've never had a bad meal yet! The staff is wonderful. Their fish fry must be awesome, because there isn't a table available until after 6 on Fridays during lent. Visit Broadway, you won't be sorry!

Always excellent food. Staff is quick and friendly, even on the busiest nights. It's bar food, but with that said, it is very good bar food. Taco day; get the burrito with the green chili sauce, phenomenal. They pan fried walleye is also a good dinner choice Friday or Saturday after 5.

Overall, it's a great place. Amazing bar food and good people.

I love Broadway for the Ht Dago Wednesdays. Liz is an added pleasure. She is a great Bartender

A buddy of mine who works at the Saint Paul Park refinery has been trying to get me to Broadway for quite sometime now.
Finally was able to make it over there and I was pleasantly surprised.

Let me add this... I live in South Saint Paul and I rarely venture out of my comfort zone of SSP but I do enjoy finding a good burger/dive joint every now and again.

* Burger was great (I had the Broadway burger, next time I will be trying the Cajun burger)

*Staff - great (Our server was Josie! And I have to say she was very patient and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs).
My girlfriend and I are on a low carb diet so when we checked out Broadway I did a burger without the bun, we did side salads and Josie made sure no croutons were in the side salad which my gf and I always forget to say "please leave out the croutons".
Even the owner came over to chat with us, (I believe his name is Ray) got us a rounds on the house.

AND.... we don't really play a bunch of pull tabs but the GF wanted to play. She put $40 in and we won like $400.00. Lol we never win that much. (This part doesn't really have anything to do with the review but I just had to add it lol)

So long story longer, our 1st time at Broadway was very memorable. We will DEFINETELY be back. I will gladly come out of my comfort zone for BROADWAY BAR & GRILL.

Friendliest bar in town. Doesn't matter if you're a local or from out of town. Ray and Steph make you feel like family. Great place for an affordable drink or a bite to eat!

Stopped by last night for dinner for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! I often complain that we have no restaurants nearby with quality food but I was mistaken. We'll be back soon!

I really like the Monday burger special. Not to big of a beer selection, but it's fine by me.
