Ryan and his team did a great job on our fire pit patio last fall and we are looking forward to them completing our landscaping this spring! We had an issue with permits (not Lake's Erosion Services fault at all) that made us have to delay our irrigation, sod, and other landscaping in the fall. Ryan was very apologetic for this issue, which again, had nothing to do with him or his company. Ryan is very quick to respond when we have questions and pricing is competitive.

We had an excellent experience with Ryan, Alex, and the entire Lakes crew. They were super responsive to all of our questions, helped guide us in decision making and we are THRILLED with the results of our front garden bed! We would highly recommend working with these guys!

Working with Lakes Erosion has been a fantastic experience. We found them through our builder and hired them for some additional work because we heard such great things about them. And I am so glad we did! Ryan and crew were fantastic to work with and all of the subs who helped complete the work were equally as great. They were professional and reliable, gave us great insight for all of the questions we asked and were great at communicating where things were at in the process and what to expect. I would highly recommend their services - we will absolutely reach out if we have a need for their services in the future.

Ryan (owner) was fantastic to deal with. He definitely has his customer's best interests in mind. My wife and I did not know exactly what we wanted for our new build in Rosemount, but Ryan made some excellent recommendations. The stamped patio he put down for us is beautiful. He also had our landscaping, irrigation, and sod put down in just over two weeks. It really takes a lot off of the customer's plate having to call different contractors when Ryan will get everything lined up for you.

We hired Lake's Erosion for landscaping and irrigation for our new construction home in Sept. We are very pleased with the outcome of the entire project and enjoyed working Ryan and his team. Alex was so helpful in talking through options and took extra time to track down some specific tree types we were looking to plant. He stopped over several times to check on the trees and made sure we knew how to care for all the plantings. Ryan was also very responsive and checked in via call or text at each step of the project and answered every question we had throughout the process. I would use them for any future landscaping needs we have.

We purchased a newly built home and Lake's Erosion was the company the builder hired to put in sod and trees. We decided to just get our yard fully landscaped. I let them know a few plants that I liked and colors that I liked and didn't like, we also let Alex just do what he thought would look nice. It looks AMAZING! We are so in love with our yard! We also needed sod earlier than it was scheduled and Ryan got us set up within a couple of days. Lake's Erosion was very easy to communicate with and very patient-we changed our minds on so many things! Would recommend these guys 100%.

Ryan and his team at Lake’s Erosion are amazing! Ryan was very informative during the whole process. He answered all my million questions in a timely matter. When I had questions about which plants/trees to plant and the care of them Alex was super helpful and explained everything. When the day came for the work to start my husband and I changed a few things and even added somethings, Ryan worked his magic so those things could still get done and didn’t delay the sod going it. I was so impressed! Then about a week after the sod went in someone drove over the edge of the lawn and made a tire track. I sent a message to Ryan about see how we could fix it and his team came out that day and fix it for us!!!!!! We would definitely recommend Lake’s Erosion and would use them again for any landscaping needs!

We had Lake's Erosion do our landscaping for our new home build in Rosemount. The whole Lake's Erosion crew that worked on our house was fantastic - knowledgeable, punctual, professional, and easy to talk to/ask questions of. Ryan, the owner, was particularly impressive. He took the time in person to listen to and answer my wife's many, many questions before hand as well as quickly answer any texts that we sent him. We felt that he was truly invested in getting us exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend this business for any landscaping need that you may have.

Ryan and his team were awesome to work with from beginning stages of the project right up until the end and even after. Ryan is quick to get back to you should you have any questions before, during or after completion of work. I would recommend to anyone looking for landscaping work around there house, work etc.

We had a great experience dealing with Ryan and his great team for our yard at our new house. They were very helpful with lots of ideas. Even ways that we could save money!

Ryan and his team did a wonderful job of my front and back yard grass job..my backyard looks like a football stadium. The sprinkler system is well calculated perfect keep up your beautiful work thanks for everything.

Initially I was impressed with Ryan and his business. He promised he would be at our new home to install the sod and landscape the day after we would move into our new home because I was calling so early to schedule. We waited over two months. We were also putting a fence in And needed to have the sod down in Time to set before the fall weather would prevent getting the fence installed. When I reached out to Ryan many times i would get excuses or no response at all. Overall the quality of the work he did for us was very good but working with Ryan was quite difficult for me.

Very possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. The TL;DR version of this review is that I strongly recommend finding another vendor, even at the expense of giving up concessions (if you are buying from a builder that included their "services").

While they may be the lowest priced option, I strongly advise "buyer beware" and "you get what you pay for". My review is based off of personal experiences, and augmented by numerous other homes in my neighborhood which they performed work.
1) Communication Issues: Your only avenue of communication is to Mr. Lake, and he frequently ignores communication attempts. Even when you do get a response it is often not trustworthy. The owner seems motivated to only tell you what it takes to make you "go away", and not the truth. There is absolutely no such thing as reliable scheduling or estimation of schedule from this company.

2) Quality of work: Many jobs contracted with this vendor will be subbed out (Sod, Irrigation, Boulder Steps, Cement) and those companies seem to do an average job. If you are concerned over the quality of the work being performed I would choose to contract directly with the vendor.

Side Note: I live in a new construction development where Lake's Erosion was contracted to complete the sod of the Brandl Anderson homes in the in the area. I personally know the majority of the home owners here and have yet to speak to one person satisfied with their experience with Lake's Erosion. In addition to this, the owner has mentioned on at least two different occasions a concern over meeting payroll of his company, and on one occasion a sub complained over delayed payment
