Baker Book House - Christian Book Store

🎉What a treat it was to go through this well-organized bookstore during our recent visit to Grand Rapids. Every area was well-stocked with a few special deals marked randomly throughout the store.

You should go, for all your Studying, Teaching, witnessing and gift giving... It's all here and at a great price, Children ages up to well, you know! Something for all ages to build your walk with Jesus!

Absolutely amazing place! It's such a great facility with an amazing and extensive variety of christian books, jewelry, gifts, bibles, bible study material, etc! The hospitality was wonderful and I can't wait to go back and shop around some more! The devotional I bought was very very good quality and the bible case as well! I highly recommend this place to ANYONE. Any old christians looking for a new bible or a bible case, or any newer christians looking for devotionals and study material! It really is an amazing place for all christians 💕😊🙏🕊

Great selection of books, toys, puzzles, bibles and gift items for ALL ages. In the back is a coffee shop with plenty of seating. Towards the front is a nice seating area by a fireplace. In one large area are shelves with used books. The cashier was extremely friendly. The parking is free with handicapped spaces at the entrance. The mall is close with easy on and off to expressways. Also there is light which makes it easier to get out on the main road. They also have a nice Christmas area where you can snap a photo, then tag them on social media. It was well worth the 2 hour travel time to the store. I will definitely be visiting again.

Love this place! Great selection of Bibles and books. They also have an amazing used book selection, including complete multivolume sets. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great reduced price section as well, so you can really get a huge bang for your buck.

A book store is always a great place to kill time. And my friends who don't like books as much loved the coffee shop. Found some great books in the used section for a great price.

Baker has an incredible selection of books, both fiction and non fiction as well as Christian academic. Can't find what you want? Their incredible staff will order it. Lots of gift options and a really good coffee shop make this one of my go tos!

Everything you could want in a Christian bookstore! Baker has all the latest in books and gifts, and their used book area is impressive! The lovely coffee shop area also offers a great opportunity to visit with friends or get work done. The staff is friendly & helpful, as well.

What a great book store! It is not just a great Christian book store, it is a great book store…period. The staff was friendly and helpful. The selection was varying and fantastic. The ambiance was peaceful and serene.

The only thing that was disappointing about my visit was that it was too short. I look forward to my next visit.

Baker Book House is a treasure trove of knowledge. The used book section is wonderful! A bookworm, like me, could go there and be happy for a long time. The best part, though, is the people who serve there. They are warm and friendly, which is what makes BBH such a friendly place.

absolutely love this bookstore! it's kind of a hidden gem and doesn't appear to be much when driving by. On the inside, however, is a top notch, clean, professional and comfortable setting. While I wish the staff would take a second to greet each customer, they are quite friendly and eager to help you on approach. The store is well lit and well decorated. One of its great assets is the small stage they have where local artists perform and authors do book signing and readings of their work. I also enjoy having hot apple cider from the cafe. They have a tasty selection of nuts and dried fruits, as well as sandwiches, which I can't wait to try! I have yet to walk out disappointed --and they have always had whatever book or author I was looking for in stock.

If you love book stores, you owe it to yourself to stop and browse Baker Book House, in Kentwood!

I love this place. Every time I go in, they always have the perfect book for what I'm looking for. The people at the checkout desk are super friendly as well. I always end up having great conversations with the people working there.

Decided to stop in and discovered it was customer appreciation weekend! Walked out with two bags of books and a whole bunch of savings. Wonderfully friendly staff. The parking lot was overflowing by the time I left.

One of my new favorite haunts. A very nice, clean, and spacious bookstore. They have a very extensive used books section in the back that is larger than many general audience used bookstores. This is a labyrinthian paradise for any book loving Christian. To God be the glory!

Baker Book House is a great bookstore. They have a huge used book section and the new book area is really nice. In the kid section they have a little train table to play at. My 1 year old nephew loved it. They also have a really good cafe there. My family all got walking tacos. They were a little over $8 but were huge.
