Papa's Pizza

Always have loved this place. The Ham and cheese sub is a family favorite, you just can’t beat the sauce they put on it. If you’re looking for a cheese pizza that looks like the one out of the goofy movie, I have just the place for you. Papas Pizza.

Father in laws favorite place. He thought they were closed drove past it and it was open so we had to stop. I have never been before. We order a mama whoppa sub and the papa whoppa sub. It was amazing. And super filing couldn't finish the whole sub. The kids loved it too. My father in law was super happy about it still being opened. Just wish they had better hours. He has thought they were closed for years.

This was our first time here and it was October 22nd. It was decorated yet had a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and unlike most Pizza places the pizza was not greasy. It was also freshly made. I would definitely recommend. We got 2 Pizzas, a cheese and a pepperoni.

Felt like a went back in time. Definitely an old school pizza place. Meat lovers deep dish was amazing. Also got a pepperoni and a cheese pizza for the kids that were top notch. Wish we had a place like this in Alabama.

Spending the weekend in Montague and this is the first time ordering from here. It’s hard to find a pizza place that has a taco pizza and a decent one. It was delicious and the Philly and beef dip subs were good as well.

Hey what a surprise... we had our Van Engelen family reunion at the Double JJ Resort and all wanted pizza. So we ordered where Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, OJ Simpson and many other celebrities had their pizza and what a pizza it was. We had 5 16 inch round and all were satisfied and more.

Classic as heck. Embrace it and ease your taste buds. This place is gr8. Mom and pop through and through. I had their cheese pizza. A true mark of quality, something simple. Bravo.

Pizza and Italian bread tasted great. People working were friendly and helpful.
They have an air hockey table for the kids, or adults, to play while you wait.

We tried Papa's Pizza while on vacation...amazing to say the least. The taco pizza was perfect and the pepperoni, cheese, and mushroom deep dish was out of this world...the staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely make a stop at Papa's Pizza when we go back to Michigan next year. Just sad that they are roughly 6 hours away.

Excellent food and service since I was a child, I'm 60 now and going back still both dine in and take out , have to try the papa wapa, yum!!

We stopped in from out of town. Looking for a family owned spot and glad we did. We ordered a small deep dish deluxe and hand tossed/thin stlye cheese. Next time I plan to get a side of sauce to spread on the top of the deep dish. Dough was tasty and not bland. Sauce was delicious as well. Som places just know how to make a good pizza, this is one!

Didn't have high expectations when I found on Google- wow though this the best damn deep dish pizza I've had in a very long time. Total cheesy heart attack waiting to happen - but you will die a very happy person. Kids loved it, I lived it and the price was downright cheep. Recommended 100%

I just relocated to Montague almost a year and a half ago and am absolutely slapping myself for overlooking this hidden little gem. I do have to say I LOVE pizza. I used to drive down to Chicago if not at least once but sometimes twice a month (per request of my now grown daughters) just to wait in line for a Chicago Deep Dish at Giordano’s. I most recently had Giordano’s in Vegas last month, so yes the taste was still fairly fresh enough to make this comparison. Let me tell you I hemmed and hawed about writing a review as to not have to share this delicious pizza with others. Hands down Papa’s knock’s it out of the park with their deep dish. In my opinion your deep dish satisfies my craving a little more. Well done! You will definitely be seeing more of me and my family😊

I've been eating here for 40 years. Definitely try the taco pizza and the Mama Whoppa.
The Italian Bread is a local favorite and my kids get it every time we go to Papa's.
Another of my favorite menu items is the Ham and Cheese sub. It has a unique lettuce dressing. It's kind of messy, but it's awesome.
If you go to Montague, definitely check it out. When I was in high school (87-91) this was the place to be. Every Friday and Saturday night they were completely packed with rowdy teens chowing down.
I think social media has changed that dynamic. We used to have to meet up with friends at a central location and then go do stuff.

The pizza was awesome. The staff was friendly. The place had a fun charm to it. Rustic. Coming back later this summer to dine outside on the porch.

This is my favorite place to go for Pizza, and we live about an hour away! The lettuce dressing that is paired with the Italian bread is out of this world. The owner and her staff are very friendly and personable. I can't recommend this place enough.

We ordered the super and meat lovers pizza and they both were excellent! We are also fans of the mama whoppa sandwich. Their Italian cheese bread is a tasty treat! The service is friendly!
