The Gnarly Heifer

This burger place is sooo good! I got a classic burger ($7) + bacon, pepper jack ($1.00) and gnarly sauce ($.50). It was really good and juicy. One of the best burgers I’ve had! The food tasted fresh the fries were nice and crispy. The fries were big enough for two of us so that’s a bonus !! The environment was very clean and cold which is nice in the summer. Our server was very friendly as well. And the service was pretty fast !This is a cute little restaurant I highly recommend!

Super cute joint with indoor / outdoor, pick your own seating. We ordered the garnly burger, smoked wings and fries. The gnarly sauce is delicious, it came on the burger and we dipped fries in it (other options available). The burger was smash burger style, perfectly crisped and full of flavor. My partner really enjoyed the wings. Jamie W, our wonderful server, offered us refills towards the end of the meal, and then offered them to go, without being prompted. That is great service! Would highly recommend and will return!

The indoor and outdoor seating was a hard decision because both options were so inviting. The burgers were fantastic and highly recommend the truffle fries. Everyone was very welcoming and had great service.

Burger was perfection. Michigan made black cherry cream soda is a must have. Down a star for me because I'm not a fan of shoestring fries, they are always limp - these didn't disappoint.

Olive burger excellent. Brisket burger excellent. Tray of fries enough for two and delicious. Small dining area. Lots of people taking out. Best burger I've had in ages. Highly recommend. Casual atmosphere.

Update: the brussel sprouts are to die for... and i don't like brussel sprouts!

This down to earth restaurant is one of our favorite weekly stops! You cannot go wrong with their specialized creative menu options! Their staff and the owners are amazing. They communicate in ways I’ve never seen in a restaurant atmosphere. I’m so glad they are thriving in every way. Keep doing what you do for the community and those new comers who have not tried the awesomeness of this mouth watering food and atmosphere.

This place has the best burgers in Whitehall! All the ingredients here are locally sourced and they are all fresh & delicious. The menu has a good number of burgers but I prefer to build my own with cheese, bacon, a fried egg, lettuce tomato and onion. The fries here are also excellent, with them having a fair number of loaded fries you can get (including some off of the secret menu). The outdoor seating is also a must do in the summer to enjoy the weather with some tasty grub!

I don't give out many 5 stars and both service and food at The Gnarly Heifer deserved them! The food was excellent! We started with their Beer Cheez' Fries. They were great! We eat them quickly and fully! Unfortunately we didn't save any to go with our sandwiches. I then had The Rowdy Rancher burger. It has double patties, bacon, fried egg. potato patty, pepper jack cheese & Gnarly Sauce. A great burger! I hope some day we go back to get another. Our daughter had a Classic Burger and my wife had The Salty Tomato with toasted rustic white bread, basil pesto, fresh tomato, parmesan cheese, goat cheese, balsamic reduction, salt & olive oil. I had a bite and it was really good as well! They both agreed that the food deserved 5 stars. The service was very helpful and extremely friendly! Another 5 stars. I didn't give 5 stars to the atmosphere only for the size of the location, no TVs and the lack of alcohol. 4 stores is still a good rating and matched the location. It is a nice place and we all loved the hidden dinosaurs to entertain kids. I highly recommend you go here!

It was a busy Thursday lunch rush and the staff did an amazing job of getting the orders out to the tables with a smile!! Chicken Shawarma was delicious 🕶

The food was amazing. My husband and I both agreed it was the best burgers we ever had. I had a Gnarly Heifer burger and he had the special. And the truffle fries were also the best we have had, they were delicious. The service was also spectacular.

Brisket Mac & Cheese and a Brisket Burger plus a huge order of fries. Every thing was SO good. We will absolutely be going back.

That Beef and Brisket Burger is a Man’ Paradise! Best Burger Ever if you love meat! Brisket was Extremely Tender falling off the Burger .

What a great little place! We have dietary restrictions and they accommodated very nicely. We got the smoked wings which honestly we could have ordered 5 or 6 and been quite satisfied with. They were simply amazing! We also got the Gnarly Burger (without a bun) and it was one of the best burgers I've had. Plenty of cheese and toppings and they even dishes it out quite nicely for us since we had no bun. The prices seem a little steep for just a burger without chips or fries with it, and you could probably get more for the same price somewhere else. However, if you're wondering if this is the place you should pick for dinner, I'm telling you right now it will not disappoint. Very nice and helpful staff as well as a clean looking restaurant. Looking forward to possibly eating here again someday when we're in the area.

Great food and great service! We went at 6:00 on a Saturday and it was quite busy so there was a wait. The service was great and once we got our food, I quickly realized it was well worth the wait! I already can't wait to go back and try more off their menu!

We stopped here on a whim and when I tell you the food was AMAZING and the truffle fries were absolutely to die for. Sorry I didn’t get a photo before I had to dig in.

Homemade burgers that you can barely wrap your mouth around and fries covered with the reminders of eating Quebec poutine. Wonderful eats!
