Awsome!!! Thats the best word to describe this place.. Need to learn things? Already know and want supplies.. well you are in luck, this is the place! Seriously! The people are extremely nice and also very helpful. Being a "city folk" and not fishing since i was a child, these people helped me with all my silly questions.. made excellent recommendations. I very highly recommend you check them out.

Newest and greatest bait and tackle, and are expanding with largei e bait area and more floor space! They are open year round and really the only good fishing store in the area that I can find! Very helpful and knowledgeable, willing to help. Go see Kat for what you need!

I have traveled all over Michigan to fish, a stop into the local bait shop is a must. That being said many times you walk in to a small cramped shop that stinks of dead minnows and petrified worms. The shelves have a few overpriced odds and ends, behind the counter is someone who is too busy with what is on tv or the phone to be bothered. Katfisher is the complete opposite of that. The store is clean, well laid out, extremely well stocked, and reasonably priced. The folks manning the counter are absolute gems. These folks not only have a passion for fishing, but an enthusiasm for you to be successful as well. We stopped in on Friday had a nice conversation and we're on our way. When we came back Saturday we were greated like old friends. The time and energy they spent to help us be successful, was amazing. When I make return trips to a place it usually is based on how successful my trip was. I will be returning many more times now just to visit one of (if not the) best bait and tackle shops in the state. Thanks Katfisher your service is second to none.

Great tackle shop! They have everything you need including healthy minnows! Friendly service close to Mullet Lake. Doug even gave us some great tips and helped us get on some nice perch! Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Thanks Doug! 👊🏻😃

This store is amazing! Chocked full of all the best gear. Kat is a super cool fisherwoman with mega years of experience. She and her husband can give you all the help and advise you need for your Up North fishing experience. Everything you could need to fish at reasonable prices.

Wow! I'm new to the area and new to fishing. They couldn't have been more helpful and excited to help. They are about fishing and are excited to teach. Got all set up for a little under my price point and feel great about everything I purchased.

Doug and Catherine couldn't be the nicest people you'd ever want to do business with. I am so happy and glad that they're in Cheboygan. if they don't have what you need I don't think anybody does definitely stop by and see them

New to the area and we stopped in to get some local fishing information. The two gentlemen were very helpful, provided us with some fishing guides, lures and even a local guide who could help us familiarize ourselves with the fishing in the area.

There is a ton of fishing gear in this place even though it looks small from the road. The owners are friendly and knowledgable.
