Fishin Hole

I went into the Fishin Hole a novice and came out an expert! Kent took the time to show me a good starter reel (Akuma Alaris ALS), and also put the line on it for me (a daunting task for a beginner) which he threw in for free. He explained some basics to me as well. I appreciated his honesty and candor. I am really excited to have discovered this place, and will be back soon to let my son pick out a lure.

If you need anything for fishing, he has it.

21 years in business says something to me. Always only the best products offered here at a great price. The owner and the staff have the knowledge to put you on the fish. Don’t waste your time anywhere else for your fishing needs. If Charlie doesn’t have it, you don’t need it.

Absolutely beautiful store owned by a passionate guy with a heart of gold who can answer just about any question you have about anything fishing-related. In the unlikely event he doesn’t have the item in stock, he can get it to you fast & at a great price. Super kid-friendly & has great snacks, too!!! My son loves the alligator jerky & cured venison. Wonderful place to be, & we will return.

Great people here. I was new to fishing the St. Joe and these guys were more than happy to help me get the right stuff to put me on fish. Very knowledgeable and they have a lot of good gear.

I was visiting Saint Joseph Michigan from Greenville South Carolina, and I needed some fishing tackle, I found “The Fishing Hole” on a Google search, and much to my surprise, it is an awesome store, Charlie is just the greatest guy, he helped me with everything that I needed to fish coho salmon and steelhead trout, if you’re in need of fishing tackle I highly recommend this store. It’s just a great little find. Very friendly with people that went out of their way to help. Thank you Charlie, i’ll see you next time I’m in town. Paul.

Great store for salmon and steelhead tackle. There is also some tackle for Bass and walleye but he's got a little bit of everything. Always has a fishing report out of st.joe and he will tell you what lures are hot great store to go to!!! Fish on

To the guy who said your card was stolen. The owner of the store has a high end surveylance system in the store. He has you on video. The store associate swiped your card into the DNR system so you could get a license. The owner of the store has offered to show you the video. You refused. If your card number was stolen in the store, it was done on a system owned by the State of Michigan. Kindly remove this negative post. It's ridiculous.
