Love taking my dog for a walk here. They have a few paths that are really nice. They do a lot of weddings here and I think it’s a beautiful place for a wedding

A great hidden gem of a park in Chisago Lakes. The beach is pretty nice, and there are a lot of hiking areas too. It's usually not very busy during the weekdays. Weddings can take over the prime weekends in summer. The city rents cabins and tenting spots, and you're very close to town. Beautiful views that feel like you are a lot further out than you are. Restrooms are older campground style, but usually clean. Many places for lunch or picnic.

PS. Bug spray is a really good idea for most days during the summer.

You are parking in a dirt lot and walking to the beach. It's a short walk, less than 1/4 mile one way, but worth mentioning.

Hidden gem with lake views. Strom Hall has plenty of windows with the classic dining hall/lodge feel. Great location for an outdoor ceremony and reception to follow inside.

My Son showed me this place and it it beautiful.

Great place for a day or a week in the woods , take a tent or rent a cabin. I've had a chance to look over pricing. It's really quit reasonable. However you need to supply all your own bedding and linens.

Beautiful park. Great venue hall. Stayed in the rustic cabins and man was it so much fun. The cabins are cute grounds are very well kept. Fishing was great. Cant wait to go back. It truly is a hidden gem.

Wow! First time ever going to this palce was Halloween 2018. I was blown away at how it was tucked back in the woods so nicely. They did a great job decorating... Staff was very nice. I recommend this to people with kids no mater the age... I can't wait for more events coming here!

I wish we could have spent way longer here! It is a beautiful spot with a really lovely lake (I was really, really surprised at how not-cold the water was!!). The biggest complaint was definitely the mosquitoes, so come prepared for that. The facilities were all great and I would definitely go here again!

This is a great little area and is being improved and updated every time I visit the park. Cabins range from four walls and a roof, to some comparable to a hotel room!

I agree the city has some quirks to work out but I can attest to the fact they are putting forth an honest effort, and considering the price, there is really no comparison. Where else can you sleep and park 100+ guests for 3 days and two nights for ~5k? Did I mention there is a church, HUGE lodge, and beach? :D

I grew up coming here when I was in camp fire. This place holds a very special place in my heart. It was as beautiful as it was 20 plus years ago. It's a bummer that it isn't still a day camp and over night camp. But it's nice to know that I can come back there again. Next time though I will have to go out into the woods to find my tree from the past if it's still there

Went to a wedding that was held here and it was amazing! Just enough shade to keep cool but still warm and inviting next to the lake. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a venue

Beautiful little park. Cabins were nice and clean. They took extra special care of the wedding party and helpers. Would for sure stay here again.

Beautiful park! My son was married there and it was just great. It's rustic with a nice fireplace to give it warmth.

Great place for graduation party. Beautiful grounds. And the building is so pretty. We had perfect weather. Our guests felt very comfortable.

This is such a great park in the ruff. Chisago city is just starting to get this beautiful area in use by the surrounding area. I've hiked the trails while on lunch break and loved it! They have camping, lodging, boat slips and special event renting.

Very nice park, facilities and grounds are well kept. I was there for a wedding. The cabins which are available seem like a great idea for families.

Beautiful park the staff that maintains it go out of there way to provide the best. Responsible prices cabins and campsites. There halls are amazing as well.

The Ojiketa Haunt was superbly done by the volunteers. Everyone had a spooky good time. Even my grand daughters that peed there pants from fright.
