Berreman Church of God

Our family has been part of this church for almost 25 years now and it's one of the friendliest ones I've ever attended. The Pastor has been serving here most of his life and really loves the people and stays true to the Bible. There is a sister church about 4 miles west which is also shepherded by our Pastor, by name, the Pleasant Valley Church of God.
The building is worth seeing for its own sake as it was built primarily from stone in the 1800's and has some interesting architecture. There are other buildings where three camps are held each summer and a small cemetery nearby. The history of the area centered on the church for many years and some of the original builders were relatives of my sister in law, which brings the history to life a little more.
Skunk Hollow Road is gravel, but it follows the valley for a long way and is a beautiful drive if you're looking for a scenic side trip. Unless you know your way around, though, you'll probably want to return the same way rather than roaming the back roads.
I think the old church is a great place and very welcoming. Hope you can come for a visit one day.
