This place is an off the main road experiences. Quaint bar/ restaurant located in Loran,Illinois. Fully stocked bar with various beer types,and of course mixed drinks. Fish Fry every Friday, and from the looks of their menu, they provide a range of food options. Outdoor seating area, to enjoy a smoke with your beverage.

Been wanting to stop in here since we moved to Illinois a couple months ago. Finally had the opportunity and was pleasantly surprised. They've got a real nice bar and the bartender was friendly. She recommended their Italian sandwich. I was skeptical as it was on Texas toast but it was real tasty. If you are in the area, give them a shot. I'll be back.

From the outside you'd think it's a country tavern. Once inside the atmosphere is warm, the people are friendly and as we came to find out people come from all over. We met a group of cross country Enduro riders from Chicago who said they stop there every year. The menu is straightforward and looks inviting enough. We opted for the specials - Phillipino inspired meat dumpling and butterfly chicken with fried rice. Shout out for the "better than I could make" fried rice. Thanks to the manager, Linda who took the time to check on us after we were done. Prices are more than reasonable. We'll be back.

I play music at this establishment. Great owners and very friendly patrons.Food is great too.Love the small town atmosphere. Highly recommend this bar and grill!

The bartenders are great and communicate well with everyone. We always have great food every time we come and never have a problem! It’s a great place to come have a drink and watch the football games or come see a band that is playing!

You can always count on a good meal, a relaxing night and sometimes some pretty decent live music. I feel like I’ve stepped into another era when I walk in The Slurp n’ Burp…almost like the good old days before smart phones

Your typical small town bar in Northern Illinois hit it everytime I visit

Slurp and Burp is more than just a clever name, in fact, it is slightly above average neighborhood bar and grill with good food, friendly service and low prices. AND, nice interior decor. New ownership since 2023, same overall vibe with some craft beer available add a bigger menu and a little higher prices add peanuts in the shell.

My experience at Slurp and Burp was nothing short of fantastic! I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

Very home town hang out feel. Great drink and food specials all week. Food was fast. Attended a fundraiser hosted and put on by the staff of Slurp N' Burpfor a local who is undergoing brain surgery. Tight-knit-community-esque. Gaming, darts, and pool available. Suitable for all ages during daylight hours. Loved the sweet corn bites from the sampler.

Went for the crablegs and they were awesome!!! Great service and the atmosphere is very nice. The owner is fantastic!!

This is a quaint small country town bar/grill. If not busy then service is great, there is typically just one person working. That person cannot determine when a group comes along. Good food, good value, country atmosphere. Weekends have live music. GREAT when Mississippi Man plays. For the out of the way place.....GREAT , UNIQUE !

Great food and staff. Prices were reasonable and we got a special treat of seeing Mississippi Man play/sing. Was good!

If you're looking for craft beers and a millennial bartender who is fluent in bourbons go somewhere else.
If you want a cold PBR and some Friday night fish fry definitely go here. The food is good. Simple burgers, wraps and sandwiches.

Oh, how I love this place! Great bison, super nice owner, and beloved staff, Lena and Nicki. Just wonderful, would rather go here than anywhere else. We always feel welcome, and everyone is greeted by name.

It's a quaint little bar as you would expect in a small rural community. Food was good. The help was great. Try one of their bison burgers. You can stop for a drink or a meal. Nothing fancy.

If you love Burgers, you have to try this place out. Huge portions, Great flavor, and awesome service. Absolutely would Rate this place 10 stars!
