Howard Colman Hall Creek Preserve

Some really cool trails. Stumbled I to it from a connecting trail at Funderburg Preserve. To help others understand why dogs aren't allowed; they are almost never allowed at anything labeled a preserve.
Preserves are about preserving certain habitats, all other uses including the trails are secondary to that goal.

A peaceful place to get away, right in your own back yard. A decent downhill walk brings you to an old bridge over a chuckling freshwater stream where kids can see frogs, crayfish, fish, and any number of fun insects living in the grasses, and listen to tons of birds calling. Forest, some bluffs along the stream, fields, some wet crossings for the adventurous, hills, and a connection to Severson and Funderburg, you can spend days walking this area and never see everything.

Less known, very quiet and has lot of trails. Entrance is by the sign!
