I had a hard time finding the 6 part series of Kitty Pryde and Wolverine -- Rick was able to go to his back warehouse and locate all of them in under 5 mins, all in GREAT condition. I appreciate the great customer service.

If you are a comic book or action figure enthusiast, then this is the place for you. They have a wide variety of merchandise, as well as friendly, knowledgeable staff. Rick, Tina, Jo, and Sean will make sure you get what you're looking for, as well as somethings you didn't know you needed! Don't wait, go now. You'll be glad you did.

I’ve passed this place for years without ever going in. After 20+ year comic hiatus, I stopped in to look for a trade paperback. Off the top of his head, the owner knew the issue numbers I was looking for. He didn’t have what I needed in stock, but it was worth the trip because this place brought back a lot of feels. The place is PACKED with comics of all sorts and some collectible comic book action figures and statues. They don’t make places like this anymore, so if you enjoy going through stacks of what seems like organized chaos, this place is for you. I’ll be back. If you’re in the Oak Park area and looking for some comic books you should stop in.

An amazing store that's stacked with so many comics you'll probably be overwhelmed. The customer service was great, especially considering I've just barely tried getting into comics. Bought a few Green Lantern issues, I will definitely be coming back. Definitely recommend.

One Stop is the only place that I ever buy comics from. It's the one place that I truly love to go to. I will always recommend to everyone that I know that this is where they need to shop at when they are looking for that special issue they have been hunting for.

Quirky shop packed with comics new and old! The inside is refreshingly chaotic, and you'll probably get the chance to overhear keeners discussing artists and superheroes.

I wanted to get my young daughter into comics. Staff was very helpful giving age appropriate suggestions. There was a definite wow factor for her coming in the first time.

I love this place! If you love comic books, or Pop Culture you really need to visit at least once. This place is loaded with comics from floor to ceiling, and practically wall to wall. The newest of the new, and tons of back issues as well. Lots of Pop Culture stuff from action figures, to statues, and toys of all types, mostly related to comic books, or movies. A lot of stuff that you probably won't find anywhere else.

The owner has been running this store for probably 40+ years, and knows all things comics, and loves to talk about them. It's a wonderful place to look around. There is so much there.

My only issue with the store would be that it is so packed with stuff that it is not always easy to get to everything. That being said, I'm sure the knowledgeable, and helpful staff is more than willing to get you access to something you want to see, and if they don't have something they are more than willing to search it out, and get it for you.

This is a very unique, and robust store, that every comic book lover should definitely visit at least once.

By the way, if for some reason you can't make it out to the store, they do have an online presence now too, so you should be able to order what you want, and have it shipped to you.

Great local comic book store that has been around since I was a kid. Owner is super friendly and will take care of you!

I ordered the Joker Ltd Ed Ikemen statue online. The whole process was very easy and they are so reliable. After ordering I reached out to Rick and he was very responsive and helpful. I usually don’t write reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by the service.

Been going to One Stop since I was in high school. Being 34 now, Rick has helped out alot, and is a great guy. Any questions please feel free to ask the man. Being in the business for decades. He is good with an answer, and a smile on your face as you head out the door.

I went in there looking for Marvel Zombies. I left with the comic. Unfortunately I got the wrong issue and Rick allowed me to return it! He seems very knowledgeable about every comic book basically out there. As someone that’s new to comics it’s refreshing seeing someone who knows what they are doing and guides me down the right path. As far as all of you saying everything is in a warehouse or back ordered. That’s true, but what do you expect. I say go in there with high intentions of leaving with a comic or two. I recently just found out about this shop and I will continue to come back here. Thanks again for the great experience Rick!

A fantastic hidden gem of the Oak Park area. Always a fantastic selection, and Rick makes you feel like family. Perfect both for collectors and those who may be taking their first steps into the comics world after seeing the newest superhero movie. Just tell them what brought you in and they’ll have great recommendations

One of the coolest comic book shops in the Chicagoland area. They have a great selection of materials, not to mention the staff are super smart. :)

It gives you the feel of a warehouse setting in your mother's basement, which is what made me think they had it all. The typical setting for being a nerd, and the nostalgic feel it gives made it fun. :) I love going to visit, and I'm not an avid reader. My husband is, though, and he loves the place. They even had an issue he was looking for that he thought he would never see again.

friendly staff and owner greeted us and offered help. big all ages comics section for the little ones. thousands of trades and new weekly books organized alphabetically around the shop. then if you want specific back issues or have a wishlist they go pull them for you from the back. if they don't have it they can find it for you! a kiosk is on site to browse the high grade stuff online. we'll be back!

Extremely friendly staff and knowledgeable about their products. They do love to chit chat but about comics of course. The selection is overwhelming and if they don't have what you're looking for they'll try and get it for you. The prices are good so if you're stopping by with a few bucks you can leave with a comic.
I have stopped by a few times sometimes in search for something specific and other times out of curiousity. They also have guest illustrators from time to time. Great place to go for gifts and to get kids to read.
