Colonial Golf Course

This is my favorite course in Oceana County - course is in great shape - greens are fast and perfectly maintained. I love the layout - a great mix of easier and hard holes with some decent elevation changes and some neat views down to greens. Wide accessible fairways and greens but you have to put it the right spots to score well. Locally owned with friendly staffed. Great patio and dining area overlooking the driving range and putting green and 1st tee. Highly recommend.

Wasn’t sure what I thought, but boy was I wrong. This course is beautiful. I will definitely return. Great layout and very playable. Great ground crew.

We’ll I don’t get a chance very often to play the West side of Mi courses & this one so just terrific. The entire course is well taken care of, the aprons are like they should be and in some cases are better than the greens elsewhere so I included some pictures of them below. This just a fun track to play and on Fridays it’s only $20.00 with the cart which is a real deal.
I’ll be back for sure.

Fantastic course. Friendly and helpful staff. This is my first time up here in Michigan, but hope to return and get to play this course again. I played the 18 hole course. It has tons of unique shots, needing accuracy and yardage control. Greens were down right perfect, smooth and quick, receptive to the right approach shot. No two holes played the same. If staying in Silver Lake/Hart area, this course is a must play.

Hubby and I are on vacation and passing through this town, we decided to look for somewhere to get a quick round in and he found this little gem of a course! This course is gorgeous and the landscape and layout is perfect. I wish this was closer to home because I would play it every week!

Amazing value for the course. It was in excellent condition for a public course. Very beautiful and interesting holes. It is pretty unforgiving in the long grass and the back nine is LONG. Literally the only thing that could use some work is that nobody repairs their ball marks on the green.

Two of my grown sons and I played the golf course yesterday. All three of us are experienced golfers and typically play private clubs. All of us were very impressed with the golf course and its conditioning. We played from the back tees and I can tell you that the back side is very demanding. A pretty golf course and one I would enjoy playing again when we are up in pentwater. It is an amazing value. We all highly recommend and hope that golfers will repair their pitch marks in the greens.

Loved it! Very friendly staff. Clean. Beautiful bar. Indoor and outside seating on the golf course with a beautiful view. And the food was delicious!

I haven't played this golf course in 20 years. This was the first time out golfing for my spring season and the course and the greens were really wonderful considering it's such an early spring date. I had a very nice experience playing this course and look forward to playing it more during the summer months.

Great course and for a great rate. Course was well maintained, greens and fairways were in good condition. Played on a Monday afternoon and no one was behind us or in front of us so pace of play was at our leisure. Definitely would play again.

Best kept course conditions great. Fast greens. Harder course than you might think.

Colonial Golf Course is always in top shape and the superintendent has done a fantastic job in keeping the greens in perfect condition. From the back tees, this course is a real challenge!
Highly recommend this course! Great rate for a great course!

Great 9 hole course for beginners!!! Fun time with family while on vacation

I would give them a galaxy of stars if I could. Mary, Jim, and John, Thank you all so very much for helping me give my father a very nice and well deserved gift. I look forward to coming up and thanking you all in person as well as playing a few rounds with my Father on your beautiful courses.

We played the 9-hole executive course -- great course conditions and the whole family can play.

The course is in great condition. Being maintained well. I've played it multiple times this year and found it very good to excellent each time. It's worth the trip to play.

Played this course about 1500 times in the 20 years it has been open. I still love going there. Great people, great course, and a nice restaurant and bar. Just a great place to hangout and enjoy golfing and hanging out with friends.
