Dark wood, tavern-esque/retro decor with upbeat modern music. Nice outdoor seating with lake view. Quiche Lorraine with fresh berries was a lovely breakfast.

I wish they had gf bread or batter options. But they were flexible with switching out the regular bread for fruit, which was great! We went around 9am on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy yet, when we left it was busy.

Our food was great, but our server Steve made it even better. Will definitely go back when we're in the area.

Came in 25-20 minutes before closing and had one of the best steaks I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly. Great presentation! Great mock tail!

Cafe Sante has been one of our favorite places for breakfast/brunch for years. It’s slightly upscale. There is an extensive cocktail menu. The breakfast menu is small but done well. Vienna Pancakes are good. The White Fish Benedict is my favorite. There is open-air patio seating and covered patio seating.

We sat at the bar and the bartender, Michael is awesome! He provided us with happy hour menus. We decided upon the duck onion soup, zucchini, whitefish and pasta bolognese! We had pot de crème for dessert! It was all amazing! We cannot wait to come back!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch that included some of the morel mushroom specials recently. The food was awesome & the service attentive. A shout out to Sarah N. who responded to a small concern we had & graciously handled the issue promptly & effectively. Will definitely return when next in Boyne City.

Great restaurant with very good staff. Had an incredible steak dinner here last night. Highly recommend the Steak with Peppercorns.

Service was very quick and always available when needed. Upscale dining at a reasonable price. Our party of 6 businessmen had a tab just over $200 including drinks all around. Very reasonable.

This place rocked. I can’t wait to move up north and go to this place weekly, ok I moved up north and this is your 5 year update. Omg it’s even better than before. A+ wine and Beer selection. A+++ for the morel mushroom soup, steak with morel sauce was out of this world. If this is my last meal. I can go into the great full belly gathering in the sky with a big smile and needing a nap. Service was very special because they asked for my name and remembered it. Great suggestions for pairing. Desert was awesome, sorry about the pic. I couldn’t resist

We actually ate here twice in one weekend! The service we received was outstanding both times. The waiters were both very attentive and friendly. Saturday evening when we stopped in we got to listen to some live music as we enjoyed our dinner and drinks. We ate a pepperoni pizza, which hit the spot! Sunday morning I ordered the Vienna pancakes w/pistachios and berries. Let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing!!!

Cafe Sante is a fantastic spot for a delicious and healthy meal. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from tasty salads and sandwiches to hearty soups and entrees. I particularly enjoyed their the strong drinks servers at the happy about.

The staff especially Michael was friendly and attentive (and funny), making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Sante to anyone looking for a great meal in a comfortable setting.

We had 4 drinks 3 meals all for $40 during happy hour :) which starts at 3 pm.

The cheese pizza, meatballs and onion soup were packed with flavor and had the perfect balance of textures.

I can't find something bad about this place. You're on a lakefront with some damn good French onion soup, thier sausage and eggs were great, and the toast & jam is phenomenal.

The Cafe Sante is always a stellar (5 to be sure) experience! The menu and preparation of the food is delightful, the atmosphere is inviting and authentic (love the heavy drapes in the doorway). Try the Shrimp Scampi pizza for supper and the Eggs Benedict for breakfast. The latter are a classic but made even better by the baguette rather than an English muffin.

Great bistro with a great location. I don't think I've ever had a bad dish there tbh. We had the salmon and whitefish last time and they were served hot, and delicious. Worth the drive.

A gem find in the city of Boyne. The location was great. We had a group of 22 ppl and was surprised they sat us all next to each other.

We had one server and he was a super server. I would give him a raise for his performance and he deserved every dollar from the tip.

The food was amazing. I had the tuna and was wow. Others got the white fish and they loved it.

We came back Sunday for breakfast but the wait was long. We were told they have the best breakfast in town too.

A must visit.

For this place being located not far from a tourist trap it is surprisingly good with decent prices. The pasta is made in house with delicious sauces. They have a ton of great drinks to choose from. They also have wood fired pizzas. This is definitely a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. And don't get me started on the breakfast absolutely delicious.

I came here to visit from Grand Rapids while staying at Boyne resort. I truly enjoyed my experience at this cafe along with my daughter. The hostess Robin really treated us amazing and we felt very welcomed. The food was very delicious, the warm bread, the lavazza coffe and the desserts, delishhhh!!! Thank you 🥰

Cafe Santé was highly recommended by someone and it met all of our expectations. It’s very clean, our hostess Jennifer was sweet, our waiter Scott was very professional, one of the best waiters we’ve come across, the food is plenty and outstanding. We had the Irish oats, eggs Benedict and sausage and eggs which they call the sausage platter, everything was delicious and exceptional. I highly recommend this place and on top of everything it’s right by the water in Boyne city and we had a great view. Awesome experience!

My friends and I went to Boyne for the weekend and stopped at this cute cafe for Brunch. I ordered the Eggs Benedict which was cooked perfectly and went well with the yummy herbed potatoes. I also got a side order of roasted carrots which were a bit pricey for the size - but again they tasted great. My friends got a few other dishes off the Brunch menu and the Vienna Pancakes were really good (I stole a bite). Can’t go wrong with berries, fresh whipped cream and Michigan maple syrup! I would have loved to have found this place earlier in our trip and definitely plan on going back. The drink menu has a lot of tempting craft cocktails and liqueurs I don’t commonly see at spots in Michigan.
