I can not say enough good things about this place! Although my story ended yesterday, it actually began on March 8th 2024. I was on a trip from Quincy to Louisville, halfway there I broke down. I was lucky enough to be close to the exit and called David. He assured me he would do his best to help me if I could get it there. I did and he did! After diagnosing the issue (new engine) he helped me figure out that my "new" used car I just bought weeks prior was actually under warranty by the manufacturer for a recall they had. He and (I believe) Amy then made the necessary calls to help me get in touch with the right dealership, tow company and rental car company. Then he drove me to the rental car place himself to make sure we were taken care of. He did all of this even when he knew he could not have my business due to it having to be repaired by the dealership. There are so many more details to this encounter and I wish I could tell them all, about how helpful everyone we encountered here was. They spent hours helping us only out of kindness! I finally got my car back from that dealership yesterday and wanted to publicly say thank you to David and his staff! I you want honest, genuine, friendly people to work on your car...this is the place!!! I am still not done thanking them!!

We were on a road trip when we broke down on I-64 near Mt Vernon, Illinois, on the Friday of the Memorial Day holiday. Parker Automotive agreed to check our RV and attempted to repair it so that we could continue our trip. This was a more complicated repair than expected. The team did everything to accommodate us during our misadventure. These people are exceptional. We finally got back on the road for 1800 kilometers and arrived at our destination very happy. Congratulations to this wonderful team!

A big shout out and heartfelt thanks to David and the team at Parker Automotive. Our primary service van recently needed an engine replacement and major repairs. David made sure the repairs were completed correctly and ensured we were happy with the end result. He went the extra mile to stand behind his repairs by offering an extended warranty at no additional expense. This speaks to the high level of integrity and personal accountability we received during our recent service. Our expectations were met and exceeded. In this day and age it is difficult to find service providers like David that put the customer first. Thanks again for your help in getting us back on the road!

We are from Iowa and are on our way to Nashville. We happened to be on a detour and our engine started misfiring so we stopped at Parker Automotive. There was a gentleman standing in the parking area and we asked if he could check the computer for us. He hooked us up quickly and gave us all the info we needed. We were in and out and he did it free to help us out. We couldn't be more thankful!! Highly recommend!

They were VERY accommodating and got my vehicle in and repaired in 24 hrs with an alternator and two new batteries. Super nice staff that went above and beyond. Would recommend them to anyone needing quick and expert repairs. Thank you David and Amy!

I requested all my brake pads to be replaced, but only two of them needed it so instead of ripping me off like Toyota would have done they just replaced the ones that needed it and it was less $ than expected.

6 out of 5 stars. I brought in a car that seized up during a multi-day road trip. They prioritized my car for the 2 days it took to fix, while still working the steady stream of people who were coming through. I know that because they allowed me to spend my day there while they worked through, and kept me informed on, the ever arising issues. To boot, I was driven to straight to the door of a hotel that evening with my dog in tow. Truly above and beyond service, with a quality repair that had me driving a better running vehicle for the remaining 1000 miles of the trip than the one I had started with.

David and Bob helped us with a Beetle window that just didn’t want to stay working. After several supplier issues and fixing it, for it to break again, they stayed on it and got a new part to fix my window. I drove 45 min away to have them perform the work. They worked with me on price and got job done when no other shop could. Thank you all. My only complaint is that you don’t have your shop in Marion. Thanks again for staying on the job till it got completed.

They do what ever it takes to get ur car or truck up and running as fast as they can and the price isn’t that bad. They r really nice people I will take my stuff back anytime

I took my 2017 Nissan Titan in, Dave's Knowledge and service was excellent. Extremely happy with turnaround and cost.

Dave and team did a fantastic job on my repair and kept me updated with the progress. I would recommend this shop to anyone who cares about quality work from honest employees.

My family was on day four out of five of a move across the states for the military when our 2015 Kia Sorento broke down outside Carbonsdale IL. The engine was completely obliterated. After sitting in some Kia dealer for a month, our warranty company recommended moving it to an approved repair facility, and Dave came into the picture for us. He got our car towed to him and had an inspector out within days. He did more for us in 3 days than the dealership did for us in a month. He kept us informed every single step of the way. When it was time for us to come get the car, he made sure the new engine was test drove because he knew we had to drive from IL to VA to get back home. He was friendly, on top of everything and generally just an amazing person/businessman. If he lived closer to our new home, we would take our car there for everything. I highly recommend Dave to anyone looking for repairs.

Wow! Amazing customer service and very fair prices. My boyfriend and I were driving down to southern IL for a camping weekend and our car broke down on the interstate two hours into the trip! We were able to make it to Parker Automotive where we were met with friendly faces. They looked my car over, explained everything in detail and took me out to the car to show me exactly what was wrong! We were given excellent service and would recommend this shop to anyone!

David has kept me up to date with everything done. Note another 5 star company in Carbondale told us our BMW 528i engine was blown or head gasket was blown which wasn't the case at all. It did need a thermostat, some hoses, etc,. But nothing like the other place told us. Thank you, David for all you have done!

HIGHLY RECCOMEND! I’m not from here and my 2500 Duramax was having issues. A local referred me to them. Not only was my truck fixed in a timely manner, but I was informed throughout the whole process as to what was wrong as well as their plan of action to fix the issues. They were also gracious enough to take me & my dog into town to a hotel. Thank you Parker Automotive!

Parker Auto helped diagnose an intake leak potentially saving me thousands of dollars and costly down time. They also diagnosed transmission problems with their high tech computer system when others couldn't help me.
