We pass through town once or twice a year from IA. Love to eat here! Great food, friendly service, great prices. Been stopping at Cardinal Inn since 2006 ❤

This was one of our highlights of route 54. The local customers made us feel welcome, the waitstaff was quick friendly and efficient.

This place is nice . It's spacious, clean. Friendly people. Food very good I had buffet, husband had biscuits and gravy. Can't say any bad about this one.

Stopped in for lunch on our way home from Jellystone RV campground. They were closing but they took an order for me. Waitress suggested the catfish oh my gosh it was wonderful. My husband's hamburger was just as good. I recommend this place.

Good comfort food and great service!
We all had the all-you-can-eat food bar. Lots of tasty options. Salads and desserts too!

Ate here a few times while working on the road. Just some good home style buffet good. Nothing fancy, fair priced, friendly service. On Christmas the owners invite in people that aren't able to afford a Christmas meal so they can eat for FREE. You won't see that at chain restaraunts.

1st time at the Cardinal Inn since it has moved and we really liked the changes. It was roomie and clean, excellent food and a very nice and attending waitress. We will definitely will return to this establishment.

Breakfast was wonderful!! I can't stress it enough! It's just been so long since I visited a restaurant that actually had good flavor! I strongly recommend this restaurant!!!

We had biscuits and gravy, breakfast shoe, and eggs, sausage links and toast. Other than the sausage being ever done, everything was good. Staff was friendly.
