Geneva State Lake

An amazing State Forest with lake side Picnic Tables and Port-A Potty plus a couple of fishing docks. No motor run boats but has a launch ramp for paddle boats hand hiking trails

If you're looking for a bare bones place to camp at, you've found it. There is a porta-potty that's pretty clean. The hiring trail is 1mile one way and theres a few side trails to take here & there.

This place is an absolute gem in the south of Alabama!! Absolutely gorgeous!

Good fishing and easy to access

It is a very beautiful and maintained place.It was our first time here.They even have campgrounds.

We had an amazing time it is a Beautiful place to camp and ride horse.

Great place to ride ATVs ,ride horses,hike,fish ,camp,only electric trolling motors allowed in the lake.

I wish there were a bunch of places like this. Pay a couple bucks at the entrance and camp. No questions, no problems. I stayed 3 days.

Beautiful and peaceful

Camped here early January 2023. Almost deserted! Very quiet. Very rustic, undeveloped! But worth the price! 4$ fhr 2 retirees!! Alabama State forest land. The road back here is slow and bumpy; in a bad rain storm it coukd really muddy! No electricity! Did not see a water pump at all. Port-a-potties….. not sure how often they get cleaned!
