Surrounded by space for sale and failed business stands this wonderful little coffee shop.
Opp hasn't had a spot for anything than folgers straight from the pot to my knowledge ever, and this delightful little spot crept in last April. I keep my fingers crossed they'll continue to do well.

Beautiful use of the older downtown building, colorful balloons and murals on the walls as well as two large well laid out menus. The staff were pleasant and quick with my order which was the Candy Bar Frap with peanut butter drizzle. Amazing.

This place is full of positive vibes!! The atmosphere, service and drinks are A+!! I love the skinny salty OG iced coffee but I have never had anything I didn't like from here. Their lemonade is amazing and they offer lotus energy add-in if you need it! Go see them!!

Lovely little place with great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Got a Salty OG cold brew and a Carmel Mocha Frappe both are delicious and came out fast. Also got a ham egg and cheese everything bagel almost tempted to go get a second one! If your in Opp you have to stop here for your breakfast and coffee! I can't wait to see how this place grows.

Don't sleep on that cranberry & blood orange refresher, be prepared to have your mind blown over the frozen hot chocolates, and be sure to try the best candy bar cold brew you ever did see.

I’ve had Grit & Grind’s coffee as well as their breakfast, both were amazing! The owners are some of the best people you’ll ever get to know! Love these folks and their business!

My wife and I stopped in for a little bit while waiting for our son to finish up his ABA therapy session. We're not coffee drinkers by any stretch of the imagination, so she ordered the peach lemonade while I opted for the blue raspberry lemonade. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was fantastic!

I spoke with the staff while there and asked if they'd considered a small stage so they could have an open mic night or something along those lines. They said they had talked about it, but that's all it's been so far. We need to frequent this establishment and make this a reality!

Please, citizens of Opp, give Grit and Grind your business! We need to keep them around!

The best coffee in town! I have so many favorites it is hard to pick just one. Caramel macchiato and the Betty white are my favs! The Christmas Tree frappe has me hooked as well😍

This place has really stole my heart.🫶 Bold flavor for such a small town. Prices are reasonable. I am normally an iced person, but today, I was in the mood for something blended. I have not bought anything I do not like yet, and I doubt I will. 🙃

They had cheese meat croissants, assortment of added flavors of iced yellow lemonade, different coffees, they had a small rack with shirts, sold coffee beans, the bathroom was nice, people are nice at the counter, the environment is big bright and roomy, had a couch, the menu was simple, the customers were polite and doing their own thing.

Great little place! Their acai bowls are super good. The blueberries were the biggest I've seen and so sweet. Really nice people, too!

This was one of my most favorite first impressions ever. The everything bagel turkey egg and cheese croissant was so delicious. Staff was smiling and informative. The latte had me feeling energized all day. I’ll be back!

Absolutely love their coffee and them! I don’t personally know them, but they are so sweet and welcoming. Great addition to our small town, definitely worth every penny i spend during the week. My favorite by far is the Betty White cold brew with 2 ex. shots of espresso and ex. caramel syrup! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 To. die. for.

Last week there was some bad weather, so unfortunately they had to close, however the owners were nice enough to deliver “The Benton’s Snack Bar” crew our favorite drinks!

Everything I have tried has been delicious and the staff and owners are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. I can't pick a favorite because everything is so good but my go to lately has been the hot Caramel Macchiato. I also love the Betty White hot or cold, Harvest Berry Refresher, and the Candy Bar Cold Brew. The Oatmeal Cream Pies are delicious as well!! Thank you Grit and Grit for fueling our little town ❤

Very good coffee right there in Opp, AL! WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT?! The salted caramel brownie is delish!

G + G is an answered prayer!! As someone who works in Opp, it is so convenient to be able to order coffee on my phone and it be ready to pick up before I go into work! No waiting in line! They also have the nicest employees! The Scout is my favorite cold drink and the caramel espresso is my favorite hot drink.. I cannot wait for the storefront to be open!! My only request is to be open later because this gal sometimes needs her 4pm coffee too :)

Great coffee. Friendly workers. Reasonably priced. Grit and grind has been really beneficial, and much desired
in the community. They offer a variety of coffee drinks that can be customized to your liking. They also offer a selection of coffee free drinks and refreshers.
My go to drink is either the sugar free caramel macchiato cold brew with oat milk and sweet cream foam, or the sugar free Betty white (white choc and vanilla) with oat milk and sweet cream foam.

My favorite is the mocha frappe with espresso! They are always so kind, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure you get your favorite drink! Literally the sweetest people! 💕
The oatmeal cream pies are also amazing!

These ladies have been doing an amazing job and we showed up 15 to close they welcomed us in with our pups and went above and beyond for us we will be back
