VCA Saginaw Animal Hospital

I was looking for a last minute appointment for our dog when our typical vet was booked. The staff at VCA were so nice and accommodating while getting us seen quickly and Nala on her way to feeling better. The staff had happy-to-help attitudes and Dr. Smartt made sure we knew all of our options. Strongly considering making this our main vet.

I don’t understand these bad reviews. We’ve been here several times for my cat and dog. My cat was severely hurt in a fight, and my dog has eye issues and needed some masses removed. We love Dr. Lanier, and all of the staff.

We’re more of a natural remedy, wait and watch family, and feed our dog homemade dog food. Dr. Lanier is kind, compassionate, understanding and respectful. We’ve had nothing but good experiences here. I recommend VCA to everyone.

Very caring and will take time to understand your pet’s situation and then make a recommendation rather than speed through and rush. I’m very grateful for the team members here!

Thank you for getting me right in and taking care of Trixie's abscess so quickly and economically. Outstanding, professional and courteous staff! Really wanted to see the abscess get popped, but I understand completely that it was a sterile room and I had been sweating all day.

This Vet is the best we have ever had. They are always ready to help us as quickly as possible. I have always been able to have my babies seen within a couple days of when I call. They always greet us with smiles, concern and care! Even when I am being an over-bearing pet parent. I really appreciate their patience and the way they go above and beyond for my babies, bc they mean the world to me. Thank you!!

My puppers has a lot of anxiety and has a history of being aggressive in medical care. The staff, nurses and doctors all took their time to make her feel comfortable and make sure she was well taken care of. Every time I have visited, my dog is taken care of with genuine love and professionalism. While there were some nervous behaviors on our last visit, there was no aggression thanks to the expert care from everyone at the VCA. I cannot say enough about how great they are and it is clear every employee loves the animals and only wants the best for them.

VCA Saginaw is the absolute BEST Veterinary clinic I have ever been associated with. I've been to many others and NONE of them even come close to the quality of service that VCA Saginaw provides. Everyone truly cares about your pet/s. They go above and beyond to provide the best care and create a safe and secure atmosphere for both the pets and the owners. The communication is outstanding. I will never take my pets anywhere else. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!

First visit today. The staff was super friendly and explained everything well. With current Covid conditions, they came out to your vehicle and take your pet. The communication was still very well done over the phone. It was a routine visit for checkup and vaccines. My dog came out happy! I will keep coming back!

The veterinarian and technician was very nice to us and were understanding of our insanely hyper lab. The veterinarian shook our hands and was nice to our daughter too. We liked that they gave the shots in front of us and didn't take our dog away to another room. We will come back!

My family and I had to put our sweet golden retriever down as he was very old and very sick. It was an extremely difficult time and the staff at the VCA Saginaw Animal Hospital were extremely kind and patient with us. They knew this was painful for us and since this was our first time having to do this. They explained the process thoroughly and they gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness, it gave us peace knowing we were making the right decision.

We have been taking our dogs here for years. A little over a year and 3 months ago, we had to put an animal down. It eventually happens to us all. They were very professional throughout that hard time. We frequently board our dog(s) and services, although a little higher than going to a roadside vet, we know records are kept and see familiar faces. Nice place. Even though it is a little bit of a drive, it is worth it

This place was great to us and our Cat. The Doctor was so kind and caring of our little guy. They even did more then just care for him. Unfortunately we did have to put him down but they were still so great with us. Thank you all.

Took my baby girl Mia in for a emergency visit. She usually goes to VCA in Aledo, but with her type of emergency she wouldn't have made it to the hospital. Saginaw VCA was extremely amazing at getting my baby to the back and getting her calm and on oxygen. Everyone from the front desk to the back was absolutely fantastic. The Dr. Gave us the news that we would have to euthanize my baby girl. The Dr. Was absolutely Compassionate caring. I hate that we had to meet this wonderful nstaff under the circumstances. But my mind is made up. My babies will all start seeing this vet. Thank you for keeping my baby comfortable and being there while we sent her off to cross the rainbow bridge.

My first time going in and the staff was wonderful! My dog doesn't trust new people much and they made sure to make him comfortable. The vet himself was super nice and made sure all my concerns were taken care of.

They were great when we had to put our Great Dane down. They made the process as stress-free as possible. I even recoeved a signed sympathy card with his ashes. Very compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend

I absolutely love VCA Saginaw. I have seen both Dr. Lane and Dr. Gant and they are equally amazing. The techs, receptionists, and practice manager, Megan, are all wonderful and caring. Dr. Lane picked up on a heart defect on my pup and referred me to a specialist for life saving surgery. They take time to answer questions and are extremely thorough in their exams. I have been to a few other vets in the area prior to VCA with personal and rescue dogs and they are comparable in pricing (except for low cost shots and spay/neuter clinics but you can’t compare the two) with superior service. I won’t be going anywhere else. By far one of my favorite vets in all my years of owning dogs.

Brought my rescue GSD, Kaiser, in this morning for a complimentary visit after adopting him over the weekend. I appreciate how we weren't shuffled in and out, and how they took time to answer all of my questions, especially since we know nothing about Kaiser's history. Also grateful for the patience showed our big almost 80lb boy, who was very nervous! Will definitely bring him back here in the future!

My Lexi has a cyst on her hip that burst. I called VCA was able to get her in that day. The staff and Dr. was so gentle with her and kept me informed of everything. I will now make them my baby's vet. Thank you so much to all of you at VCA

The staff were very friendly and they answered all of the questions i had about my dogs care. My dog was very happy and they took great care of her on her first visit. Wonderful place. I will definitely take my dog there for her care. Thank you to everyone today for making my dog stress free.

Excellent facility and even more amazing staff! When I found a cat that had been ran over they helped and looked at it to let me know it needed to be put to sleep due to brain damage. Other vets wanted to charge and the shelters were full unfortunately. I plan to take my golden retriever to them from now on. They’ve more than earned my business!
