The Owl's Nest Cafe

The food and service was great. It was a first time trying the location and had the baked potato with the grilled chicken.

At first, the menu was lacking some pictures which is why I headed over to the google maps for the pictures. I was very much impressed with the look of the baked potato with the grilled chicken which is why I ordered it.

Although the presentation was not the same as what I saw in the business picture, it was definitely worth the try.

I will definitely return to the location and try another item on the menu. I look forward to the next visit for sure.

This is one of my favorite places to get shakes! They are delicious, and hit just right spot! The staff is very friendly! The atmosphere is very chill, and relaxing. If you're in the mood for a shake, give this place a go!

I love the Fried Hoot! I am glad they changed up their hours because I could barely make it before. The milkshakes are pretty good too. The fruity pebbles one was my favorite.

Stopped here for lunch while I was in town for work, and it was genuinely the best part of my 5 day stay in the area. The food was great (I had the market salad and half a chicken salad sandwich, and my coworker had a choose 2 with stew and a hot sandwich), I liked it enough that my only disappointment was that they close so early I never finished work in time to get dinner here. The two ladies working were very sweet and helpful, and the iced coffee was exactly what I needed to face the second half of my day!

I have been to this cafe a few times now and every time I go I have a great experience. I get amazing service from the friendly waitress and the food is always delicious! Today I got the potato soup and chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread! I am very picky about my chicken salad, and this one is 5 stars for sure! I am so happy to have a gem like this in our town!

Amazing food, great service. Waitresses were so friendly. Just moved from Mckinney to Godley, and this place gave me the downtown McKinney feeling that I had been missing. Looking forward to coming back again and again. Alone, and with my husband and 4 year old 😃❤

Popped into this place on an early afternoon looking for some good food at a reasonable price and I gotta tell ya The Owl's Nest Cafe did not disappoint. I took the staff recommendation and ordered a Cowboy Clucker, and that cluckin' sammy was slammin'. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and went so well with the sourdough bread. I got a lemonade to sip on and it helped to quench my thirst and my sweet tooth at the same time. The staff was friendly, attentive and held great conversation.

Another part about the experience I enjoyed was I found out they are Veteran owned and operated and I'm a big fan of supporting small businesses, particularly Veteran owned ones. Keep up the great work @Owl's Nest Cafe, you have a great location and great vibe in there. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, stop on in, you won't regret it!!!

I got the chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread and It was PHENOMENAL! The Owls Nest has great food and a great atmosphere as well. Everyone should check It out!! They are also extremely kid friendly! Perfect family atmosphere ❤

A great new restaurant worth trying. I had the stuffed avocado with chicken salad, it was great! There was a little crunch on it which was pleasantly surprising. I look forward to trying the other food in the future.

I am extremely pleased with not only the service, but the cleanliness of your shop! I am a HUGE fan of the potatoe soup, the chef salad, and the BLT. FINALLY! a healthier alternative to fast taco, etc in Joshua. Thank you for great service!

What a perfect place! The food is delicious and the new location has so much character! The milkshake bar is a great add to an already great menu! Highly recommend!

Stopped by for a quick to-go lunch, the salad was huge and the BLT was perfect!! Owner and staff were very nice as well! Will definitely be stopping by more often!

We have used them twice already to supply platters of Sandwiches and Fruit, and Apple Pie for Events !!! Quality and Quantity was amazing and fresh .....Be sure you try the Chicken Noodle soup too!!!!
