Grumps Burgers

Just came into town for my friend's wedding and we wanted to try some food nearby and I said let's go try this spot out I love burger spots especially ones that look like they're locally owned and taken care of like Mom and Pop. They were super friendly took our order really quick and fast we had to wait a little bit for our food but it came out so fresh and hot. I got the barbecue bacon cheeseburger and it was so good and my friend got just a bacon cheeseburger I also ordered sweet potato fries and those were delightful what a side order of ranch and they have jalapeno ketchup that was pretty good. Restrooms were very clean they were cleaning them as I was in there which was even nicer All around would definitely come back.

Excellent service. They checked on us several times to make sure everything tasted good and see if we needed anything. Very friendly. I can't say enough that the burgers were great!! If you are in this area, I highly recommend you eat here!!

This place has a lot of Texas charm. The cheeseburger was delicious and the fries were hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. I didn't have the chance to really look at the Bluebell ice cream, but they seemed to have a good selection. The prices are amazing and the staff is extremely friendly.

Oh. My. Word. I came from KY, and my family says to try Grumps, and I'm glad I did! In true Texas style, if it ain't messy, it ain't good. This burger should have been eaten with a fork but definitely worth an extremely violent flight to get here. And while you're at it, try the fried jalapeño slices. Never had any like it. Incredible.

The reviews are legit for this place. Burger was great - juicy, soft interior, crispy edges. I recommend getting it “dirty” (grilled onions and grilled jalepenos). Fries were VERY good. Emerald (wait staff) recommended jalapeño ketchup, and it didn’t disappoint - ketchup with chopped up peppers. If I didn’t live in another city, I’d be a regular!

Oh yeah, shelled peanuts offered before the meal too!

We just moved into town and needed an eccentric burger spot to spice things up. I’m happy AND satisfied with not just the lovely service but with the quality/quantity of the food here a Grumps!!! We will be back!

First visit, probably will not go back.
Margaritas were not good. And ask waiter if you could get it sealed and take, never got a response. Whereas as other restaurants, will take and seal and let you take with you. Love the peanuts!

Went for a quick bite to dinner and had a wonderful time. Started with a large draft beer served in a frozen margarita glass along with some of the house chips. The fries were superior but both were awesome for munching. Had the mushroom and swiss burger which was great but not as great as just the standard cheeseburger. The prices are beyond reasonable and the shakes/ice cream for after are delicious as well. Check this spot out.

Good burgers. Very lean meat so to me a little dry. But very flavorful. Good sized hand Pattie’s burgers. Interesting selection of Dublin Soda on tap. Sweet tea is good. The service is quick and attentive. Free roasted peanuts as you wait for food to be prepared. My only complaint are the fried pickles. They were not edible. So overcooked they might as well have been potato chips. I wanted to ask the staff if that was their normal method of preparing fried pickles but they were too busy and I didn’t get the chance. Overall I would get a burger here again but pass on the fried pickles.

Update. Manager reached out and I am always impressed with someone reads a review and shows true concern over making the customer experience better. Updated from 4 to 5 stars.

Had a bit of a wait at Home Depot down the road so we stopped in for a bite. Long line ordering but I think that's a testament to the great food. There's free peanuts to snack on while you're waiting. I had a patty melt and my wife had a cheeseburger. I was a bit disappointed in the patty melt at first because I am a purist and I believe Patty Melts should always be made on rye. This one was on Texas Toast and was surprisingly good and not soggy like I'd expect with that kind of bread. The cheeseburger was excellent, as were the fries. Nice atmosphere, will definitely return.

Had a GREAT juicy bacon cheeseburger thoughtfully prepared to my liking. Sweet potato fries were excellent. Great service by Jae Lynn (sp?) If you like or love burgers you have to go here. Will definitely return on next visit to the Cleburne area.

I lived in Cleburne for a little over two years and I can’t wait to find my way back. I continue to come back for community events etc. Stopped at Grumps last night for a husband wife date night meal. As usual they don’t disappoint! Great food, nice staff, and a fun atmosphere! God bless! 🍔

Went here for a birthday lunch. The cashier was awesome answering questions about things for those who hadn't eaten there before. Peanuts are available while you wait. You order and seat yourself but there is wait staff that helps you with refills and brings you your food. The food was great and there was plenty to eat.

Swiss Mushroom burger was excellent. Pickles were a little salty.

One of the best burger places I have been to as far as food goes. They serve peanuts if you dine in which I’m not a fan of but if that is your thing it’s something they offer along with a nice simple menu an great service

This is one of the best restaurant burgers I've ever had, and the sweet potato fries are divine! Washed down with a super cold Dos Equis beer and I couldn't have asked for a better lunch!! I was very pleasantly surprised!!! Then my girlfriends and I sat out front on the mechanical horse until our senses had cleared & we set out for a day of shopping!

YUMMMMM. I got a basic cheeseburger but it did not taste basic. It was so good. The patty was thicc, juicy and seasoned well. It was a big burger in my opinion because of the meat. I was full with half of it but it just tasted so good I finished it. I got sweet potato fries. Ask to make sure they make em crispy and they were perfectly crisp but they taste average. Still good. I also got the fried pickles. Those were just ok. They are sliced so thin I think they got a little dried out when fried so it had a paper like consistency. Not that I eat papy but you know what I mean. Overall I will go back for burgers and try different side next time.

Great burgers. The orders are made fresh so you have to wait a bit but it's worth it. This was our first visit so we just ordered hamburgers, spicy fries, onion rings, and fried pickles. All very delicious! We will be back!

Great spot cold beer nice people and GREAT hamburgers! Reminds me of Woody's in Mineral Wells. If they would put in shuffle board table I might not never leave!!! Lol I will be back often!

Burgers were really good. Sweet tea was refreshing. They said how long a to go order would take and it was ready at that time.
