Crawfish Hideaway

What a great spot to stop if your live in the area or are just passing by on you way to Houston or Dallas Some of the best crawfish I’ve had. Ordered them spicy and it was seasoned perfectly. I was there on a Friday night and they had some lice music which was excellent There’s some covered seating but most is outdoors. They are pet friendly. Definitely will be coming back to try some other items on the menu.

Cute little out-of-the-way restaurant. The crawfish were great. Unfortunately, they are only open seasonally. Although with their current menu, they could be open all year round. They have several other items on the menu than just catfish. They have shrimp and fish baskets that are sure to please

My grands wanted to eat crawfish, so this is where we went. Very surprised. Food was great & service was great too. We ate outside and really enjoyed the day.

Great place to get a big 'ol batch of crawfish. You want it hot? These 'bugs are on fire if that's the way you like it. I also like the BYOB option.

On our last visit to Buffalo Texas we were fortunate enough to try Crawfish Hideaway....it was hands down the BEST CRAWFISH I have ever had. The staff was nice and the open air dining was so much fun!!!!

We had 40 lbs of crawfish, mushrooms, corn on the cob, potatoes, boiled shrimp and fried mushrooms, all was fresh and good.

The atmosphere is down home welcoming. The service is outstanding! The menu is simple and yet delicious. I visited a few times during my stay in the area, had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He's the kind of guy you want to give your business to. Highly recommend the banana puddin!!

The crawfish and shrimp are good and spicy. Boudin balls well good as well. They have bottomless drinks, non-alcoholic but it is a BYOB. If you eat the spicy be ready to drink. Definitely will be returning.

Stopped by on the way to Dallas. Best decision, the crawfish was 10/10. If you like spicy corn go ahead and add it to your order also. Great atmosphere as well. Definitely coming back.

Very quaint spot with good crawfish. The service was very friendly and fast. My only complaint was the flies, but when you eat outside, you're going to have that. Still- would recommend to anyone passing through Buffalo.

Crawfish are spicy and hot! The oysters on the 1/3 shell are from Chesapeake Bay and perfectly salty!
Highly recommend the boudin balls. It’s BYOB and the staff is super cool and friendly. Ask to sit in Hannah’s station. She’s awesome.

Okay folks, this place is awesome! Just because they serve Crawfish in season doesn't mean they don't have lots of other great minu items, i.e. fried tails, shrimp, alligator, mushrooms, pickles, catfish, and lots more. Give em a try....Great food, service, and prices.. you will enjoy.

Best crawfish I've ever had in 30 years.

Crawfish were fresh, very flavorful and the gator bites were awesome too. I also love the sauce they provide to dip your food in.

Ordered the spicy crawfish and shrimp. They were very flavorful. They usually have specials that are at a very reasonable price. Dang good food.

The extra spicy crawfish are SPICY and MAGNIFICENT!!! The boudin balls are a dream come true and the sausage, corn, potatoes and catfish are excellent but I wish they did have the banana pudding, it would've been a cool respite from the spice. Will be back!!!
