Chris the owner came up and asked how we were and chatted a bit, great place. Amazing owners and defiantly a must visit place. Food is 100% also- worth the money! Price friendly for a sit down

Really, really good food! Waitress was very friendly. She recommended the Texican burger, and it was delicious! Great flavor on the sauce. Not overpowering the whole burger. My husband ate a chicken fried steak meal. It was delicious as well. The atmosphere was great. Overall, it was a great place to eat. We highly recommend it.

Dinner date with my husband. Service was good. Food was good. Drinks were good. What more could you ask for?

Stopped in for breakfast and got lots of smiles, too!! Super happy, friendly waitress in the morning, so that makes for a great start of the day!! The home fries are by far the best I've ever had!!! Can't wait to visit family again in TX cuz we'll be comin' back for more!! Fresh squeezed OJ, breakfast margaritas and a big fluffy warm biscuit with butter and apple butter on top....can you say deliciousness!!!

What a gem! The food is amazing and the service is always great! I totally suggest trying any of the tacos! Meatloaf is delicious too! The seasonal soup was 15 bean with sausage...a definite must try!

Went again this morning and it was fabulous. Pancakes, biscuits, eggs, sausage and chicken pot pie were served at our seats, all of which were excellent. If you're in Fort Worth, it's well worth the drive

SUPERB RESTAURANT
This place has really fresh food. Everything is made fresh to order, so dont expect fast food. The hand battered chicken fried steak is excellent, nice thick crust and wonderful gravy. The smoked meatloaf is served with a sweet and tangy bbq sauce it is really amazing. Their seasonal veggies are always great. The hand cut fries are the best I've ever had. Try their loaded fries, you wont be disappointed. Believe me when I say, it is worth the time to drive here and well worth the money. Staff is super friendly and even the cook will come out on occasion to ask guests if they like their food. That means he really cares about each plate being served. They also have a great bar menu. Happy hour is really good and they serve some unique and different drinks. We have been so pleased with Hickory Tree- Joshua, that it's our new FAVORITE restaurant within 30 miles.

Great place. Great food. It's a brand new location. Only 2 months old. They have oversized tables for a restaurant, so cool!! My son and I tried several things. We were not dissatisfied with any or them. If you're anywhere close to this place, make the effort to go. You'll be happy you did!

I had the biscuit french toast and let me tell you, it's better than you can expect. The biscuit was fresh, the crust on the toast was spot on, the syrup was good, and they even put fresh fruit on top. What else do you expect?

Also, if you are down for the breakfast margarita, you won't go wrong. You can see the empty glass in the picture. I was not able to wait until I got the food.

Check this place out. Morning, lunch, or dinner. You pick and they will provide the best food in the area.

What a delightful detour off Chisolm Trail in downtown Joshua, Texas. The Hickory Tree Grill is inside a beautiful old building. The architecture and decor were beautiful. The food was amazing! Huge portions. I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken with Jalapeno gravy. We definitely need to come back next time we head to Glen Rose, TX.

My favorite place in Joshua and the first restaurant I ever ate at. Live music, wonderful atmosphere, and the servers remember you and call you by name. 10/10 stars :)

Excellent restaurant with owners who really care about the customers and food they love themselves. You can really tell they put their hearts into the menu and attention to detail of the layout. Very impressed. If you're ever in Joshua this is a must see.

Two in one restaurant. In the morning the breakfast restaurant is the Main Street Biscuit Company at 3:00, on Sundays it turns back into The Hickory Tree Gill. SO this review is for the the MAin Street Biscuit Company and I will soon visit The Hickory Tree Grill and provided my thoughts for it as well. The Main Street Biscuit Company is the BEST! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is friendly. This is not just a biscuit sandwich kind of place. Then menu is full and I can not believe anyone will have difficulty finding something they will love at this venue. I will add some photos and please make the short drive from the metroplex to try this restaurant you will be happy you did. Go see the Main Street Biscuit Company and Go See Texas!

5 years living in Texas, trying several different restaurants in Burleson, Cleburne, Joshua, Crowley, Mansfield this is the best American cuisine breakfast place , being here 3 times trying different options and they are always excellent, and in regards the building great decoration and set up A1 place not too many places like this around.

What a fabulous experience all around... We happened to stumble across this place while visiting my parents. We can say enough about everything here!!! The ambiance was great. Very clean. Attentive staff that knows the menu and makes recommendations... food was amazing... stupendous drink menu!!! And then there's dessert... life altering according to Dawn our server... SHE WASN'T WRONG!!! Such a great time and my parents new favorite place... we will be back!!!

The Breakfast Chimmi was amazing 😍. Packed with bacon. Instead of the sausage gravy on top I substituted the ham Tasso gravy... genius!
