Gary, his wife, and the staff are all great! Very honest, affordable, and will go the extra mile to make sure sure it's done right the first time. I'm a lifetime customer, no doubt. I've been coming here for years and trust them 100%. I just wish I would have found out about them sooner. I can't recommend it enough. Good hearted local family owned business!

I hate to review this place so word won't get out. But, like a 100 other people already gave him awesome reviews, here's me jumping on the band wagon with enthusiasm. He's honest, to the point, and knows his stuff. However, be prepared to wait for your car. He is a very small business and everyone seems willing to wait in line to get their car fixed.

Gary the best. Worked on two of our vehicles. Both were done when he said they would be and at a reasonable price. He was Honest fixing the problems. Recommend him to my whole family young and elderly. Five stars are not enough. .

I had a problem with my truck while driving. We stopped by hopping to get help. The team was incredible, kind, and helpful. Really appreciated their willingness to help me.

I've been getting my inspection done at their shop for early 10 yrs and everytime has been a pleasant experience. They are always friendly, & do inspections every day their open, but only from 11 am-1 pm.

Gary is one of the most conscientious, knowledgeable, and honest people I've ever met. He expertly repaired a recurring problem with my 20 year old truck (coils failing in the rain), and also took care of a couple other items he found at no extra charge. Very reasonable prices compared to past experience with other shops which were nowhere near as good as Ponton's. He also provided great suggestions on how to take care of future issues. I found my new go-to auto repair shop!

Awesome customer service! Wow! Gary took such good care of us. Travelling from College Station to Cypress our alternator went out. They had one brought to us and installed for us so quickly! Impressive! We are so grateful. Thank you Gary and Dalton!!!

Great service. It is a small shop and it takes time to get in, but once your vehicle is on the rack they knock it out in no time at a reasonable price!

Gary is great. I have taken a couple of vehicles up there to get worked on. I am able to do most mechanical work myself but in a pinch I took the first vehicle there. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it with a great price. After I have trusted him to fix my vehicles when needed and he performed the service with a great cost. Like I said before, I am able to do most work myself but I trust him to fix it right, not add extras and do it without breaking the bank. A few times he has found other issues and just tells me an estimate and how long he things it will last like it is.

Gary keeps me, and most of my friends, going. He goes to any length to get you on the road. Honest, fair, & just a great guy. His wife does the inspections, he & his crew do the repairs. Been going to him for 8 or 9 years now. Reasonable prices, and he'll always chk w/You first if something comes up other than what you discussed. Highly recommend!

Great service. Honest upfront pricing. They didnt try to sell me something I didn't need. The work was done in the time stated. Will definitely go back next time I need work done. Also, state inspections at a location close to home. Which means a lot when you live out here in the sticks.

Ponton's is the only place I will take my vehicles! I've been going there for many years and they are honest, kind, and very much like family. They are the VERY BEST auto mechanics and state inspection. You don't have to second guess them & we absolutely love out Crystal, Gary and their darling family!

Had problems with my truck for a long time that other shops could not figure out. Took it to Pontons and when i got my truck back, it drove like a new truck. Gary found many issues that the other shops missed. I am very pleased with the work, the price was very good but most of all, he fixed the problem. I will use his shop again. Thanks.

Ponton automotive is by far the most honest and reliable business around. My car was broke down in my yard. Gary came over and hooked me up with a temporary fix. Wasn't a guarantee but that fix lasted another 4 years and saved me a lot of money. Thanks Gary and family y'all are the best!

Gary is my guy! I take my vehicles to him whenever possible. Very reasonable prices. He's always booked, so you may have to wait, but he's worth it.

Ponton’s is very helpful. They don’t just stop at the issue you brought your vehicle in. They give it a good look and make sure your vehicle is in good condition before they are satisfied. Gary was very helpful and informative, explained exactly what the issues were and options on how to fix it. Very friendly staff, they treat you like family. I’ll be taking my vehicles to Ponton’s.
