Dairy Queen Store

Nice country town DQ right off of 45 on the way home from Dallas to Houston. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. The service was excellent. I ordered the tacos and they came out quickly. The tacos were delicious. They are the best kept secret at DQ. You have to ask for and put the taco sauce on them to jazz them up a tad.

On a side note. You can pick up a copy of the daily bread here. I haven’t seen that in a long time.

Whole store smelled fresh and clean. Bathrooms were spotless. Didn't try the food. One young lady in our group got a blizzard and it was good.

Good food and service. Great atmosphere. Kind workers and guests. The young lady made our blizzards just right.

Our favorite place to stop during road trips. This place was remodeled and it looks nice and clean. The staff is super nice. There are more restroom stalls women. 😍 the food is always delicious. This place also has a pet park for your pets to stretch and release some energy before heading out.

Not sure what it is about this Dairy Queen but it's one of the best we've been too! We've stopped here many times over the last 5 years when traveling frequently from Central to East TX and this one is consistently so good! The food is so fresh and they really know how to make a chocolate Xtreme blizzard!!!

Once again we are happy to see a decent fast food restaraunt where the employees do a great job. They are friendly and working hard. This in itself is almost amazing after seeing so many places of business that are not very clean and employees seemingly just there for a paycheck. Likely a less than adequate one at that. This type of place keeps us coming back. I know $ is tight all over but consider rewarding the people who work hard to make you happy to come to them for a meal. Thanks yall

The ice cream was great, but the customer service was FANTASTIC. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and when I misplaced something at the store, they went out of their way to help me retrieve it. Thanks for a job well done. Highly recommended!!

I had the full meal deal they asked if I wanted cheese I said yes and bacon. The burger was delicious and the fries were hot not quite salty enough however and I got a chocolate sundae afterwards I was certainly full.

The people at this location definitely make DQ proud. They were very ice and kind.

The staff was a bunch of young people who couldn't have done a better job! They were communicating and getting orders out and helping guests with big smiles on their faces! It's a rare thing to see these days... Give these hard working, young folks a raise!! Thank you for my blizzard!! Butterfingers, reeses peanut butter cups and hot fudge! Ooohhh weeee....

This location used to be terribly slow but lately has been much faster about getting orders out. The food is always good and staff members are always cheerful and helpful

Has always been a required layover for my crew as we go over the river and through the Woods to Grandma and Grandpas house. Belt buster tea and a dip cone answers any grumbling tummy.

I love Texas! We ordered Turtle Pecan Cluster blizzards. Both blizzards were properly made with ingredients throughout, from the first to the last bite. The lady who took our order and the lady who served us our ice cream were both friendly and polite.

Hands down the best dairy queen in Texas! I stop here every time I travel from Houston to Dallas,The staff is awesome, top notch. Brittany and Frances are so great at customer service and very friendly. The cook Cecelia makes your food when you order it so it's always hot and fresh. The Manger Rebecca has this system down and running like a well oiled machine. Highly recommended!!!!

This is a good family restaurant, they have plenty of room and have great deserts. The food is great for the price ( although it is a little pricey ). Not so much of an alone place but more suited for family meals. It can get loud as little kids are always wanting ice cream. It isn't the place to go if you are in a big rush because the food is fresh cooked. But should never take more than 20 min. Max to get in and out. They also have good management so you pretty much always come out with a good experience. Also they are very friendly people.

A great place to meet and munch. It's about halfway between Freeport and N. Richland Hills so it's a convenient place to meet our daughter and return the granddaughters to her after a Christmas visit.
