You can find treasures upon treasure at Helping Hands of Hickman County! Not only the most cost conscious place in the Hickman/Dickson County area but the ladies and helpers that run the place are the hardest working seniors I have ever met just to bring you the best place to shop in the area at the best cost effective way! From helping with food to the ones that can’t afford to do so themselves, to helping create a great experience every time we go. This is our favorite go to place in town and who knows you may even run into us while we are there too! Happy hunting for treasures!

1st time I have been in 2yrs. Friendly people, I found a very nice splatter screen, an apron which I sorely needed and lovely greeting cards which were a bargain!

Very nice thrift store on Highway 46 run by volunteers which are very friendly people. They have a lot of merchandise and they also have a free book bin.

Everything about this place is wonderful. It supports the community, helps people in need with food and even utilities sometimes. You can find some true treasures inside and everything is priced well below its value. The people are friendly and donate their time to work there. This is the PERFECT place to donate your clothing, household items, furniture or anything you no longer need and feel GOOD about knowing you are giving it to a worthy cause. Check them out.

Great deals daily. Got this sweet "Los Angel's Gal" for just $1.00....yep $1.00. Just one of their specials for that day. All clothing was $1.00 this past Thursday. Even the evening dresses were included for $1.00 each. So visit often like I do to get the bargains.

They provide lots of food to folks who need it for free! Awesome folks!
Just show up on Thursday mornings after 10 a.m. and volunteers will load up boxes of good fresh produce, bread, yogurt, etc. In your car trunk! Just drive to the end of the lined up cars and open your trunk when it's your turn to receive free food!

I have been coming to the thrift store for over 2 years now. Here is my assessment:
1. The selection is amazing. As far as furniture and household stuff, you will find something different every time you go!
2. If you're looking for perfection in the organization of clothing and craft items, don't. I'll tell you why. There are four ladies that are almost always there volunteering and they just don't have enough help to keep everything perfect! This is a well-loved ministry, so they get pretty steady donations and it's all they can do to keep up!
3. All four of those ladies are amazing, caring and helpful!
4. If you were to walk through my home, I would be able to point out the wonderful pieces of furniture I have purchased at Helping Hands. All the prices are on point and I would highly recommend this shop to all treasure hunters!
5. Helping Hands is not just a thrift store, it is a very special place in the community that helps many, many folks with food distribution, etc.
I am in awe of the dedication of those that work there!

Never knew about this gem. Wow, amazing deals on furniture which is 1/2 off on a certain times and days so check first. You can ask the ladies and they usually can tell ya if they have it. They've got an item from a to z. So a great place for great deals. Especially for those just getting out on their own.

Well can't deny it .. great deals here especially on Wednesday and Saturday which is half price day on cloths ..I know for sure .
love it !!!

Helping hand is a great place to find knickknacks for your house and useful items clothing etc. pictures, I have found many items to furnish my home and the prices are great also a great place to drop off your items that you’re no longer using for others to enjoy! I highly recommend helping hands of Hickman County

This place is amazing. I have come here a few times for food and they have always been super nice. Its hard when you fall on hard times and have to turn to others to feed your family. They made me feel real welcome and were very understanding about my situation. They also have really decent clothes and furniture thats priced very affordable.

Great atmosphere and good deals on used items that have been donated to the store for resale. I've been able to find some nice collection of dishes and serving pieces for a party I was helping out on.
Plus they also have food drive and give food to the needy people who don't know anything to eat.

Great, affordable thrift store! Wednesdays & Saturdays are 1/2 price. Hickman County borders Williamson County which you can tell from the quality of donations. I've scored Pottery Barn pillows, current books, clothing with tags, etc. Employees are helpful and kind, too. Proceeds fund their much needed social services programs. Support a worthy mission by shopping and donating here!

We've been able to find some nice items for our house. Plus on Thursday morning we have access to food from the second harvest food bank.
Very nice place to go in.

The people are nice they have lots of good stuff for a good price. You can also get food there. You can get kid clothes you can get clothes for yourself. You can get Jackets because its getting cold outside. You can get shoes you kids and yourself. Also plates and cups and dishes and Books so it's all their.

A dedicated, hard-working group that provides much-needed assistance to the community. Like all such thrift stores, you have to go in often because you never know what they're going to have from one week to the next. Always worth a stop.

Great great great deals here right now... They are so nice to me every time and if you get lucky you can even get free snacks and cakes

Great people that carry out their mission to help others so very well. They make me feel welcome there. They are always true to high ideals.

I love thrift stores and this is my favorite one. They have a wonderful variety of things that need a good home. And I love the way they are displayed.
