El Toro Authentic Mexican Grill

Absolutely the best South American fare in Tennessee. The birria quesadillas are the highlight of the menu for me. And although every server and manager here are consistently warm and welcoming, make an effort to get sat with Gabriela, as she is among the most outstanding servers I’ve had the pleasure to have take care of me, and I have lived and dined all over the country.

Excellent food, awesome margaritas. 1st time wait person could have been much better. Second time wait person was excellent, ask for (Haliegh). We will go back. I later found out on Tuesday they have $1.99 margaritas.

When you go to El Toro's, ask for Ray or Haley for your server. Ray and Haley are excellent. Ray speaks a little bit of English but he understands most everything you say. If he does not understand, ask him. Did he understand and he will repeat your order. Excellent server. Haley is very friendly. She speaks English and is an excellent server also. The food was great but every time I go there it's always delicious. The only thing I don't like about it. They do not have medium sauce. They are mild and they are hot. It's hard to mix together to make it medium. Try their steak fajitas they're wonderful! Overall I give them an A.

I had a chance to take my wife to lunch. Service was good, wait staff friendly and no wait. We love their queso with chorizo. They offer a very affordable lunch menu that they serve Monday- Saturday 11am-3pm. I had chili Colorado and my wife lunch chimichangas.

Came here because our car broke down and we stayed at the hotel across the street. Best unexpected experience ever. Dakota was our server and he did an amazing job. Our meal was delicious from chips to entrées. Definetely recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner.

Great place. Run by a very caring and culinary talented family. Food is wonderful and the people really make the dining experience a joyous one! We have eaten at El Toro many times and have NEVER been disappointed!

This is the best Mexican we have found in Rhea County. So delicious, great atmosphere, fabulous staff! We will be back.

El Toro is my go-to spot when I want a good Mexican meal and some margaritas. The Texas Fajita nachos are out of this world good. Their drinks get it done.

Fantastic food, large variety menu. Good prices. Very busy on weekends. But the food is worth the short wait. The service is very attentive and can answer any questions you may have.

The food, as usual was great. What needed to be hot with hot and what needed to be room temperature. Everything spiced appropriately and delicious. There was no wait to get a table and the service was quick and dependable. Without a doubt our favorite local Mexican restaurant.

My only complaint is I live in Chattanooga and it’s Dayton! 5 stars across the board! Never disappointed!

My wife and I eat out quite a bit and we like good food of many types. To get good Mexican cuisine, it take a genuine, family owned and operated approach to meet, and even exceed, expectations. El Toro is just such a place. Having dined there a half dozen times now, I can tell you that we have never been disappointed. Food and service are both great and we just generally like the place, the people there, and the way they run the restaurant. If you like good Mexican food, you will like El Toro!
