Mt Pleasant Grille

This a great place down past Columbia that everyone in the area including Spring Hill needs to go and try. The food was delicious. The Pasta Yaya and even the Caesar was well done. But the deviled eggs and fritters were the star of the show. All in a beautiful historic building and great service.

Great atmosphere at this spot in a small town. The soft music playing enhanced the dining experience. I had Cajun Chicken Pasta and it was delicious. The Main Street Creamery Ice Cream made in Mt Pleasant was scrumptious and served in a cute old fashioned style dish. My server, Chloe, was very tentative to my needs, and was super friendly. I felt welcome.

My family and I were traveling through Mt. Pleasant after visiting Summertown Metals. The exterior appearance of Mt Pleasant Grille sparked our interest and we decided to give it a go. Walking inside the building the interior design didn't disappoint. As we were promptly seated it was nice looking at the older, classy interior. It was pretty well-kept and neat to see. I decided to get the fried pickles as an appetizer. It's something my family likes and we've had at many other restaurants. I was impressed as they were the best fried pickles we've ever had. Everyone in my party of five ordered something different and every entrée was perfectly cooked and dressed. My little one ordered chicken tenders, and my older kids ordered Cajun chicken pasta, Farmhouse Burger and a Buffalo chicken sandwich. I ordered a hamburger steak. All the plates were dressed nicely and the food was great! The waitress, Macey, was quick and attentive, easy to understand and communicate with. We had a great experience at this restaurant and will make it a point to visit again! If you're here reading these reviews, GO! 😁 10/10

This is the perfect small-town diner experience! My wife and I love the place. The food is great, the selection of meals is quite respectable, and the people are always so friendly. It's great for a quiet lunch on the square, a cozy dinner, or (like we did recently) hosting the in-laws. I recommend this place with sincerity and enthusiasm.

Delicious food for lunch.. a well balanced and healthy menu. The chef made a beautiful choice with fried catfish po'boy, dirty rice and pork rinds. A beautiful combination that was totally unexpected. A Tennessee kiss to Louisiana.

This charming family friendly establishment gave us 5 star service today and the food was absolutely amazing and cooked specifically to our liking. I would definitely recommend giving Mt Pleasant Grille a try.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning, hadn't been here in a few years. When they brought the pancakes I ordered there were 2 but they were so fluffy I thought there were 3! Along with my husband's French toast, the eggs and meat, everything was great. Server was by herself and did very well.

The Cajun chicken pasta was good. The PO boy was not available today. I would like to try dine-in next time.

Pimento cheese fritters with pepper jelly were delectable! A must try for anybody!
Our waitress was very sweet & attentive & gave some interesting historical facts about the history of the building, making me want to research more!

I have been here twice, first time was on a state tour. We come back on our own a month later. Good food here! Sweet little town enjoyed our visit both times!

Great atmosphere. Even though it gives you an upscale vibe it still has that hometown feel. The food was amazing. The shrimp and grits definitely are in my top 3 of all time. The spice level definitely blew me away. I highly recommend this place. Make sure you get you a burger when you stop in.

Awesome burgers with tons of add-ons for an excellent custom cheeseburger. The "Mount Brownie" dessert was so good! Also amazing, friendly service from multiple employees.

Excellent place to eat. I’m from out of town and she recommended the jalapeño burger and it was spot on!

Parking is plenty- don't just try to park on the street, but there is a gravel parking lot nearby the main road & the restaurant. There is a party room upstairs- great for a small gathering for a birthday or a business meeting. Food is excellent, kitchen is doing a great job.
