El Indio Mexican Restaurant

We tried this out for the first time last weekend and it's amazing. The best Mexican around. It's our new favorite place. May even end up there again this weekend. I got a burrito special and my bf got the Carne asada burrito. We shared a queso app and the fried cheesecake. Everything was delicious!! Service was great too.

I don't know how long this restaurant has been open for but I just noticed it recently and boy am I glad I did because it's literally less than 5 minutes from my house. The food is excellent my husband and son loved the chips and salsa and the prices are on point for this type of food. Portion sizes are good and everything always tastes great and it's always hot and fresh whenever I come in to pick it up. I've never eaten in the restaurant I've only ever ordered takeout but it's very very good and like I said close to my house so very convenient. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants typical Mexican restaurant type cuisine.

Nice new restaurant close to home. Love the menu so many options to choose from. They may be very small but they have a unique Mexican flavor that is so delicious. If you are looking for a good restaurant please visit you will not be disappointed. Had enough food to take for lunch the next day. Husband had a the California burrito and he was surprised to have shrimp in the burrito. He said it was so good. Will for sure be returning. Don’t forget to get dessert we had the churros with ice cream so flipping good

ME my son eat there. Once twice week. I love all Mexican food. Service call order or go in. I highly recommend .for entire family

We went as a family for the first time last night. Very clean and comfortable dining area. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was excellent! So excited to have a neighborhood restaurant like this!

This is THE best Mexican food in Tennessee. We go at least twice a month. The food is excellent, the prices are unbeatable and the waiters are so friendly.

OMG!!! El Indio is hands down my favorite in Middle TN. Love the menu options. The food is fire, salsa is supreme, the margaritas are sublime, and the horchata is delicious. Service was friendly and very attentive.

Everytime I go to El Indio it is packed. Best Mexican around Mt.Pleasant/Columbia. Super delicious food and awesome margaritas. Affordable. Have always gotten great service.

First time here !! Wil Come back!!! Got a Fajita Burrito with chicken and shrimp. YUMMM!!! The beans had a different flavor and they tasted really delicious!!! Shrimp was fresh tasting. overall a very good flavorful meal. Price wasn't bad either.

Some of the best fajitas I've ever had. +$4 margaritas? This place is our new weekly go-to, just need to get there before 6. I'm honestly worried about them having to move to a bigger space and getting further away from us =(

PS. The hot sauce on the table is no joke.

Really glad we tried this place . We have been let down by all other Mexican food in the area. Does not look like much from the outside and you don't go there for the ambiance but the food and margaritas will bring us back for sure. Great service too!

We have been looking for good Mexican food in the Columbia and surrounding areas for so long and have finally found a place that has fully satisfied us!
The Hawaiian fajitas were sooo good!
The rice and beans were on point! (Most places like to drown the beans in cheese and these were perfect!)
The ceviche was so good and refreshing!
This will definitely be our go to for Mexican going forward!!
