Hampton Inn Greenville/Travelers Rest

We saw the sign and stopped with no reservation. Unfortunately for us they were completely booked with no rooms available. The lady at the registration counter was extremely friendly and helpful. She checked other local hotels and even called ahead for other Hampton reservations. She is a reason we always look for Hampton Inn when traveling. Though we did not get a room we left happy and was able to stay at another Hampton down the road.

The Hampton Inn was quiet and welcoming..the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows..which is wonderful for someone like me who sleeps with 2-3 pillows.. a continental breakfast was included with the room. Staff members were so friendly and helpful. Give them a try when you’re in the area. 😊📸

Despite the elevator being broke, the staff was very nice and accommodating. I did have a pretty epic toilet. 😂😂 It was a Toto luxury.

Despite the renovations going on this was a very welcome place to stay. The gentlemen at the front desk was so nice and friendly! The modern bathroom was amazing, glass walk in shower, high tech toilet complete with bidet with blowdryer. Clock imbedded in the mirror with bluetooth!

I had to stay in Travelers Rest over the weekend for a drumming gig I had, and I was booked at the Hampton Inn. I'm not sure what it was like before the renovations, but I was highly pleased with the room I was in! I love the modern look to the bathroom with the led mirrors, walk-in shower with glass barn doors, and I never thought I could love a toilet so much until I sat down on the heated toilet seat! Breakfast was served, and I enjoyed the waffles! I will definitely be returning for more visits when I'm in the area to DJ or play drums!

This hotel had friendly staff everywhere we went. As we waited for the elevator, we met cleaning staff that asked if we had a good nights sleep (we did sleep well) and then as we stepped into the elevator they wished us a good day.
The Sunday breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. We met Mama T who prepared the breakfast. She truly loves her job and greeted every person as they prepared their plates to eat.
Also the Sunday AM Manager was very nice. Best hotel experience.

Great hotel, can not wait to see it when renovations are complete. This was our first time here and even though we got off to a rough start, the staff made sure to make it right and take care of us. Way to go Hilton and Hampton Inn. Definitely will be back and hopefully the same staff will be there because they have been amazing.

HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!!!!!!! I take pictures on elevators as a hobby and I was gonna stay here, but the elevator is broken!!!!!!!!!!! I love elevators so much!!!!! The staff is friendly, so I love the staff. I stayed there when I was 12 June 30-July 1, 2008. I know it’s gonna get better.

I would have to say that my recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Travelers Rest was great! The hotel lobby was very welcoming and the Christmas decorations were an added touch! The rooms renovated not long ago was clean and the additions to the room The bidet, Blue tooth mirrors and the towel warmer and the most comfortable bedding - it felt like I was at home!

Friendly staff - Mama T’s breakfast is a perfect start to the morning. Hotel is clean and well appointed. Proximity to restaurants is great. Only complaint is that the rooms on the highway side are noisy. The sounds comes right through the window and/or unit.

The staff are above and beyond. Travis went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and accommodated and so did Mama T. Mama Ts breakfast was amazing. Travis' recommations for restaurants and things to do while in town were on point. The hotel is very clean and super nice. We will definitely be back. A very memorable experience!

Our experience at the Hampton Inn was great. The hotel is nice and clean. The employees are friendly and nice. The rooms are great. The beds are comfy, and there is a fancy toilet. I can't emphasize enough about how clean everything was. If you are looking for a great hotel, this is it.

In spite of being under exterior renovations, this hotel was clean comfortable and quiet.
Interior rooms recently renovated with latest technology. Staff if very friendly and professional. Located walking distance to Main Street in the quaint little town of Travelers Rest. Also located across the street from the beautiful Swamp Rabbit Trail where you can bike 3 miles to the beautiful campus of Furman University or 9 miles biking to the heart of Greenville, Unity Park and Falls Park on the Reddy. Special thanks to Gerald for displaying southern hospitality at its best !

We stayed here for a wedding! The breakfast choices both hot and cold were awesome and filling for our family. The fitness center has a great vareity of equipment and space for a good, safe workout. The pool was clean and so much fun. The staff is so friendly!

Very nice location. Room was very clean. The property appears to have been recently remodeled. Lots of nice touches... Towel warmer in bathroom. Travis at the front desk was friendly and I heard other guest call him by name. Nice place.

Personally, I have never stayed at so nice of a hotel. The TV was huge, bathroom had a smart mirror & toilet. Breakfast had real omelets, skillet potatoes, anything you could want. Three types of coffee fresh 24/7. And the staff were out of this world! I met Travis and Marilyn at the front counter, and Sheila serviced my room. Top-knotch, stellar customer service. Give these guys a raise man! Thank you!

Lovely, updated room and facilities. Staff have all been kind and caring, especially those at the check-in desk and dining. Mama T made an excellent breakfast and was a delight to chat with in the morning! Thanks for a great stay!

We were visiting family close to Hampton Inn. The location was perfect. Super clean, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Our room was roomy and clean. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again, if needed. Thank you, Hampton Inn/Travelers Rest!

Trevor and Mama T are awesome! They treat you as family, great you with a smile, and they go above and beyond to take care of their guests. We were so happy to see them again before our stay ends. The rooms are very clean and they take good care of the property. There is plenty to choose from for breakfast. I highly recommend this property and be sure to see Trevor and Mama T.

Fantastic stay! Terri (with an i) who was in charge of breakfast was fantastic! She asked our group which things we preferred and did her best to accommodate. She kept the coffee full, and it was good! Terry (with a y) made cookies each evening that were delicious!!!! All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, the beds are comfortable and for your added pleasure the rooms have bidets! Will definitely stay again if I ever go back to Greenville!
