Great price on standard coffee, good location, quick and friendly service. Coffee was really fresh and had 3 different roasts on daily selection. Cool shirts for sale and relaxed vibe.

Went last time I was down here, employees were super friendly and the coffee was great. We tried two different style cold drinks off the menu and they were both really good. One tasted exactly like a chocolate covered espresso bean. I’m an avid Starbucks fan usually, but when I come downtown I try to commit myself to small business. These guys didn’t have to try too hard to convince me they are better.

Port City Java serves the best coffee downtown. I have come here almost every day for over a year now and have tried many of the espressos, smoothies, and milkshakes on the menu. I have never been disappointed.

The staff is always friendly and willing to help you figure out something new if you don't want the usual.

Every time I walk in here, I am more and more impressed with how nice everyone is, how welcome I feel, and how yummy the food and coffee are. The manager is the sweetest - he always has a welcoming attitude, seems to treat his employees very well, and even brought me a sample of a special kind of coffee as I was working on my laptop in their shop. And I LOVE the outdoor seating on Main and in the back!!

The staff is super friendly and hospitable. High quality coffee for a low price. Quiet atmosphere. You'll never regret going to Port City Java!! As a plus, they also have a rewards app.

Really great coffee. The drinks are not over-priced unlike a similar coffee shop, service is fast, workers are super sweet and will do their best to make you happy. Place is kept clean, really quiet nice place to sit down and get work done.

Excellent! We stopped here on our visit to the wonderful city of Greenville, SC, and we had a great experience! The coffee was delicious, the smoothies were great, and the staff was extra friendly! As a bonus, the bathroom was immaculate! I highly recommend this cafe! A +

Fantastic spot! My sister introduced me to Port City and it has become my favorite coffee shop in Greenville SC. Great selection and prices. Right downtown, bike rack, outside seating on sidewalk as well as in back, even a fireplace, inside tables, stools and booths, walking distance to Falls Park and downtown restaurants, bars, and concert venues.

Incredible place run by an incredible guy. Nathan, the owner/operator goes it if his way to make the place comfy and cozy while serving up delicious coffee. One thing I really admire about Nathan is his love for the community. I have witnessed him and heard stories about him caring for the homeless in Greenville and trying to steer them to places where they can receive help. Trust me, he doesn't get paid to do that. He does it because he has a huge heart. Thanks for what you guys bring to our community.

I am boycotting Starbucks, Teavana and Barnes & Noble. The prices are high, ingredients are very poor quality, and service through their business practices are overly complicated.

That being said, when I saw Port City Java, I had to try them. I look for private or small owned coffee shops now. I was happy with the prices, service, ingredients and exceptional flavors. I only wish I could replace all the Starbucks for this place so I wouldn't have to travel half way across the county for a decent coffee and coffee shop.

Amazing coffee, but somewhat high prices. It's great study/work location, but not good for meetings or even dates necessarily,. Very good product and very fast service. Great location for a stop during a stroll downtown.

Love this downtown coffee shop! They provided their delicious coffee for our recent event, and everyone was delighted. They made pick up and service a breeze. Highly recommended!

Delicious coffee drinks, from the House Blend to the espresso drinks, both hot &'cold, delicious food served all day, fresh bakery and pastry choices, a very friendly & knowledgeable staff, all in an awesome location with great prices. Decent playlist, beautiful art, and fast WiFi. 5-Stars..

Quick courteous service with three drip brew strengths. I ordered an everything bagal and dark coffee. There is plenty of seating both inside and out.

Store Manager is actively involved with the Greenville downtown scene, on top of running the coffee shop. Speaks well! Just would like more gluten/dairy free options! :)

I have been coming here for years. I have even picked up their own roast several times for home use. I highly recommend this place for home use and for a quick coffee drink.
