I go once a week, sometimes 2 admittedly. I get a hot white chocolate mocha, which their coffee is really good, not that froo froo stuff..
And I also get a apple butter turkey on croissant, and let me tell you, it's darn good. Pretty sure they make it with love every time. The dude that made it this morning I think put extra love. So good!

Got coffee while mom was in the dentist. Cute place. I got the Hayride, tasty. Not too sweet. Friendly.

First visit at Poets and I loved it! It’s so cozy! I love the little dinosaurs on the window sills! The service was great, the employees were very kind and helpful. I got the bourbon caramel drink, can’t remember the name, but it was amazing. Shoutout to the barista that made it and and the cashier who suggested it cold. They also suggested a sandwich called the Hobbs. Stop. It was so good. First time in a long time I’ve actually finished my coffee and food from a cafe. I usually throw it away halfway through. But not this time! Can’t wait to come again :)

Pumpkin spiced coffee and the breakfast sandwiches we had were amazing! The ambience is pleasant and the employees are nice.

Absolutely love this coffee!! I visit every time I'm in town. Try the white chocolate frappe with an extra shot of espresso right on top for an extra boost of flavor! Love this shop.

Poet’s was recommended to me by my sister who lives in the area. We loved their drinks so much we went again the next morning. The staff were helpful and quick to get us our drinks. Highly recommend!

Fruit bagel was the perfect mix of sweet and salty! Husband loved the Walnut cream cheese.

Just left a packed house at Poets South with only TWO guys running the show. Drive thru wrapped around and four people ahead of me in line and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Not only taking drink orders and making them, but making food AND stopping to wash their hands between. I was so genuinely impressed by their skill and the level of calm maintained.

Love their coffee (hot or cold) and the Hobbs sandwich!! Yum!! Only downside is that the drive thru is very slow l, even if there are only 1-2 cars ahead of you.

You could not ask for a friendlier staffed coffee shop! Love visiting and always leave with a smile. Every seasonal drink is always amazing. Love love love all the Poet's locations.

This is a quaint little spot if you want that famous Poet's coffee but also want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the downtown crowd. It's much quieter and offers plenty of spots to work. The drive thru is a huge plus.

I travel a LOT for work. I drink way to much coffee. I search for small Coffee shops. I like coffee, not candy bars. So, the coffee black, has to be good to impress me. Poet's is my favorite yet,, and it's in my home town!

Extremely good espresso / cappucinos. I bypass the Cookeville Starbucks now when I'm driving east or west on I 40. Parking is easier at Poet's South, but the downtown location is great also. Help support a quality independent coffeehouse!

So for the past two weeks I have been on hunt for my new Coffee Spot or shall I say expresso spot lol. There is one that I visited most definitely gets my vote. Not only is their signature porch swing drink amazing but their food is right there along with it. Will most definitely be going back!

This location has the friendliest staff. They make the visit pleasurable and the coffees is some of the best around.

The best place to get coffee in Cookeville. Drinks are always perfect and the breakfast sandwiches are insanely delicious!

Top local coffee shop in Cookeville. The entire staff makes supreme coffee, just look out for that Monday crew, you may actually enjoy your morning. Bearded guy is fun too.
