This is an amazing local roaster. If you are a frequent coffee drinker and traveling through the Cookeville area. Vertical will take care of all of your caffeine coffee needs. They have an amazing specialty list that has some season drinks as well.

The Swanson and the Heat Waves cold foam cold brew was a favorite among our group.

This is high quality coffee drinks with a great service and decent seating.

The atmosphere is small town with some group areas and free parking outside the coffee shop.

Highly recommend for any and all coffee stops! This seems to be the only place that is this quality in driving distance of most of Cookeville.

I love the chill atmosphere and the baristas are super nice. Their Captain Jack iced latte is a must get. They have amazing house made syrups as well as a nice variety of pastries and desserts. We love to stop in when we’re in Cookeville.

Great relaxing little coffee shop. Every drink I’ve had here has been wonderful. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable about coffee. Fully recommend chilling here. Oh and they play very good music.

By far the best coffee shop in middle Tennessee! If you are in Cookeville, it’s a must stop. Love the owners and all the employees are very pleasant. Such a nice shop for coffee and munchies. I love their own roasted coffee flavors and the Kevbos Espresso is the best. Staff are always wonderful and friendly.

A nicely refreshed historic downtown building with a warm atmosphere and a great selection of coffee and snacks. I recommend the cold brew with no ice, oat milk, caramel and mocha. That's how I like it at least, sip it.

Vertical Coffee has the sweetest owners and the most friendly staff. Their new space is gorgeous and has such a welcoming vibe. Their coffee is also AH-MAZING!!

I am a frequent customer of Vertical Coffee and they are the best. The new location on Spring Street is amazing. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is second to none.

Very good coffee. The atmosphere was nice and quiet the day I was sitting in the coffee shop with a friend. Good variety of coffees to choose from although I prefer a simple good hot coffee with cream and stevia. Check it out.

I’ve always liked Vertical’s coffee, but their old location left a little to be desired. However, since opening this new location, they’ve become a staple in my weekly routine. It is SOOO beautiful! And their employees and customers make it a warm, friendly place to spend time. After visiting there 3 or 4 times in the past two weeks, I’m already feeling like a regular and looking forward to mornings I can grab my laptop, get a fantastic cup of coffee, and spend an hour there getting work done and enjoying the atmosphere. Thanks so much for the effort you guys have put into making this a welcoming, community-building environment! ❤

I’m in here at least once a week if not more. And when I’m not I’m making my coffee at home with their beans. Seriously the best cold brew and cold foam I’ve ever had and I look forward to their specials every month. All the employees are super friendly and inviting as well AND their new space is gorgeous! I just love ‘em!

Always delicious coffee, roasted in house, handcrafted syrups and friendly service! The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy.

Their coffee came recommended to us by a friend so we stopped by and bought 2 bags and they ground them in store. It's now the only coffee we keep stocked in our home.

Best coffee shop in/around Cookeville. My wife and I enjoy coffee and love to try out all the local coffee shops. Got to say Veritcal coffee is the best around and they roast their own beans! You can watch them if you happen to come when they're doing the roasting.
