Some of the best pizza we’ve had in America! Reminded us of Italy… Buffalo mozzarella is incredible

Nice little restaurant/deli. Crunchy crust pizza, great flavor and well worth several visits. We had the supreme pizza and the Greek salad. The dressing on the Greek salad was superb! Pizza was fresh and the pizza crust is definitely homemade! Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely love everything about this restaurant! The food is so delicious! Everything from the sandwiches, wraps, and pizza to the people that work there. My daughter and son-in-law came to visit last week. They loved it so much, we went three times. You won’t be disappointed!

Since my last review, we have since eaten at World Food twice. It has been absolutely amazing with great service. Now, it is one of my favorite places to eat as it was before. Maybe, my previous review was from a really random bad night there.

Waited an hour on a pizza. It was so freaking hot inside the deli, we had to take our pizza to go, because we had an event to be at. We didn’t get to eat one bite of it. We were so hot and hungry we were sick and my daughter is now sick in the parking lot and we have to go home. When it’s hot outside, people like to have a cool place to set and enjoy their meal. Why would you make your employees and customers miserable? 28 dollars down the drain. I also think for a Saturday night that there should be more employees.

We had an errand to run in Cookeville, and needed a snack! We scrolled through google looking for a local spot. SO glad we stopped here today (1/12/24).

The girl at the counter was kind and welcoming— showed us what by the slice pizzas they had and got us taken care of. There was even a local man in there who told us we wouldn’t regret having come here!

It was DELICIOUS! The five of us wish we lived closer.

The only MINOR thing to be aware of is parking. We were in a large truck but thankfully we were able to find an end spot on the street.

Anyway, loved it. Will go back if we’re in the area!!

Go here for food and atmosphere! Tucked away in an old building in the old part of town, you'll find World Foods. When you enter the door, your senses are hit with the most wonderful smells. The staff are so friendly. Be sure to save room for dessert!

The employees here are some of the best in cookeville. The girls there tonight were so kind to me. I had cheesecake a small pie. Absolutely delicious!

Fantastic food and service! The only thing we didn't like was someone bringing in a very large hairy service dog in such a small place of food beside me, my wife, and infant while we ate.

Had the grilled chicken pesto and friend had HUGE pizza slice with vege/meat combo. Music golden mixed years of rock n roll. Awesome place.

The pizza was fire, definitely not going to be getting pizza anywhere else in Cookeville. The cannolis and desserts in general are fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the food. If you're ever in Cookeville, stop in grab a slice and see what I'm talking about. 10/10

Amazing people and wonderful food. Its a great lunch spot to grab a slice of Pizza in a great atmosphere. They also have great sandwiches and desserts. I have been coming here for over 8 years and it never disappoints.

The best pizza! Better than I had in Chicago! Workers were very nice! Snack and cozy atmosphere.

I’m a pizza with ranch kind of guy, and I didn’t use ranch—it was delicious without it. We ordered the chicken pesto pizza, added black olives and mushrooms. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed it, AND the customer service was great. Definitely recommend.

I rarely write reviews on anything, but I love this place so much! The pizza is fantastic. Best pizza ever! Their chicken pesto pizza is my absolute favorite food from anywhere. The cheesecake is also delicious. And everyone who works there is so friendly, really great people!

Delicious lunch! Spanakopita was delightful and the steak and cheese sandwich was quite yummy too. Loved that toasty baguette ❤

You can never go wrong with a good ole Philly with no green peppers and extra cheese and Whole Foods gave me just that. Fast.. fresh and hot with a wonderful staff. How could one complain??

Best pizza I've ever had, and I'm from Long Island where the best pizza in the world comes from. If you're not going to world foods for your pizza you're going to the wrong place.

Very friendly staff. The Portobello and Roasted Red Pepper Pizza is dangerously good. Comfy atmosphere. Awe inspiring soundtrack.

I think I've been here at least 20 times and tried most everything on the menu by now. The food here is INCREDIBLE. Among my favorites would have to be the Philly Cheese Steak, Shawarma, and their pizza. Not only is the food off the charts, but it is cheap! My girlfriend and I just got back from having philly cheese, kefta, two canolis, and two drinks for $17. The guys behind the counter are running a fair and friendly business, and they're all really, really pleasant. They've also got a great import beer selection if you're into trying new things. This is, to me, the superior dining establishment in Cookeville.
