Bar On The Green

Out of town and I googled this restaurant / bar , which didn't disappoint !
The atmosphere was , small , quaint , and cozy . The waitress , tall blonde , young lady was , extremely kind .
Asked , numerous times , if I needed anything .
I did have the bacon cheeseburger , which was , not only huge , but awesome !
It came out , so hot , I had to wait a while for it to cool down .
The French fries were good as well , just a little too salty for me .
Met the DJ , Scott ?
Extremely , nice not only kind , but played , some awesome music !
Eagles , Pink Floyd , and not to forget , they also had karaoke !
Can honestly , say , there were a couple guys that got up , to sing , that were absolutely incredible !
Will be back , if I'm ever in Cookeville TN !

The old bay wings are DELICIOUS !!!!! And the onion rings are the best I’ve ever had. Bartenders are friendly and add to the atmosphere. This is a place you become a regular at.

The atmosphere here isn't bad. Typical bar. The food however is very good! Especially if you like wings. The "dirty boy" wings are quite possibly the best I've ever had anywhere. 10/10.

Stopped here for the music. There was a DJ that night. I was a little disappointed that there was no live music, but the experience was a good one. The food was delicious. Our server was awesome. Loads of personality. Made up for the music.

I've read great reviews so decided to stop by to pick up a to go order. The establishment was clean and the staff was very nice, I was greeted immediately and with a smile, so that's great when you've never been here before and you don't know what to expect. I was also eyeing it out to see if maybe I'd like to stop in some time when they have music. It's a bit small so I'm not sure if there's another room for music and dancing I've heard occurs, but today's visit for food proved to be a fantastic choice! I decided on the bacon multi-cheese burger with onion rings. It was a birdie to be honest! It was cooked as I requested, tasted fresh, condiments were just right, it was huge, juicy and I can tell you I haven't had a burger this delicious in years! Kudos to the cook and the owners in their choice to not cut corners The onion rings were spectacular with a homemade batter that made it a hole in one!! I'm impressed! I heard they are working on the parking lot, so that's great, but I'll tell you, I'd walk here if the food is consistent to my experience today! I got stupid full but still wished there was more, it was that good!

Nice bartender, atmosphere and food for a good price.

Golf Club, DJING on Friday and Saturday night, great music and dancing. Live music 🎶. Staff is amazing. The owner is Jessica. Great food and drinks are all reasonably priced! Plenty of parking. Age varies. A little something for everyone! Going back. Fun atmosphere.

Best burger I've had in a long time. Not a smoker so 3 stars on the atmosphere.

The whole place is a second home for me and my husband. The food is fresh and handmade. The DirtyBoys Wings are a special here and they are fantastic. The bacon, cheese, and jalapeño BOG fries is my husband's go to comfort food. The owner is amazing and so sweet! During Summer they have a kids area to play with a Shirley Temple my daughter adores. I may be a bit biased but this is the spot! You have to wait a bit for the food but with it being so fresh and home-made, it is worth the wait. The burgers are also bussin'.

AMAZING FOOD! My mother sister and I came out this Saturday. The DJ was fun and played great music! I ordered the blackened chicken with coleslaw and kettle chips and it was one of the best meals I've ever had! Very reasonable prices. My mom got the pretzel they were also very tasty! Fun atmosphere!

The wings are some of the best I've ever had, especially the dirty boys wings. Bacon cheddar burger was excellent as well. Can't recommend enough.

First time I had been there yesterday! Love the atmosphere almost like cheers! Had a delicious Reuben with coleslaw on the side and thousand island dressing! My boyfriend had that grilled shrimp with a wonderful salad, the shrimp were huge and fried perfectly! Also had a painkiller drink with nutmeg sprinkled on the top, delicious creamy drink would definitely have it again! Just missed Jessica a good buddy I know from back when, in the bilmar days! Very good service from the waitresses and love the fun festive environment! Great flat screen TVs, specials on the chalkboard, and fun activities! Would definitely go back again and again!

Not just a dive bar. Once you try the food, you start thinking about calling Guy fieri, it's that good! Great place for lunch to impress your friends with the made from scratch food. If you come at night it will be a little crowded and smoky but you will have a good time.

Omg. This has got to be the best wings and beer cheese we have had in cookeville. I mean literally can eat the beer cheese like soup. Had the dirty boy wings and kicking bourbon wings and basket of fries with beer cheese. Definitely gonna be a regular. Sauce is homemade. If you havnt tried this place you have to try it. Next time we will try the club sandwich as it looks delicious also

This place...being the first time ever there...I was.more than amazed...the service was beyond excellent..the food..that was ordered...was excellent..( need to try and make fried mushrooms though) they were just simply...AMAZING...also..I was amazed that this restaurant will let you smoke inside, although I am no.longer a smoker..but still...I loved this place and hope to go back there again soon one day.

Service is good, live music. Kitchen can be a little slow, but we'll worth the wait. Best item is dirty boy wings.
