Horseshoe Bend Family Campground

This fourth of July weekend my friends who have a permanent site here invited us to visit them. This campground is beyond beautiful! Very family friendly! We will be coming back next year. The owner drew is a young man that works hard to keep everything kept up and continues to make everyone safe and taken care of.

Great family campground, nice wading/swimming in the creek. Quite a few full timers, we had friendly camp neighbors. Drew is a great host, highly recommend.

It was such a great pleasure to stay in a quiet, clean campground where the neighbors and owner made you feel like family. Our campsite was perfect sitting in a nook beside the quaint river - perfect for us and our dogs to cool off in. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the fresh air and tranquility that Horseshoe bend offers. Thank you for such a warm and inviting place to go on our vacation!

Me and my mom spent a beautiful 8 nights 9 days camping there. The ground and facilities were cleaned the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be visiting this place again.

I was there recently this past summer after my Beach Trip in June! Really a beautiful spot to camp out & to explore, really put my RAV4 to the Test out here too.

Owners are very nice and helpful, bathrooms are dated standard vault toilets ,clean enough,but the creek makes for a good time,quite at night and some shaded and full sun sites ,I will visit here again and would suggest it for tent camping with or without w/e

Great "at home" feel! Staff was super hospitable & kept the bathhouses maintained. This section of creek was great for tubing & fishing compared to others; the beach area was a favorite for my little one. He loved getting so close to the ducks & feeding them. If you're looking for quite, private, & homey this is it. Live band every night this weekend which added a nice vibe to the whole experience. We will definitely be back!

We've went primitive camping there for the last several years and love it there. It's never been too crowded for our little family and all the people who we talked to that have campers there saythey absolutely love it too. I highly recommend it for good service if you want away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life. Friendly staff and people who camp there.

Beautiful swimming areas.
New owners are pretty nice.
They give cookouts, fourth of July fireworks. They are improving little by little..
alot better than in the past.

We stopped in to see if they had a permanent spot to put our camper and the new owner was so nice he told us the spots that was open and told us we could have any one we wanted. We picked one out and brought the camper up the next day and everybody just started helping out I think we are gonna really like our new spot. So if you want a quiet place and nice people come on up to horseshoe bend campground

Friendly environment! Space was well kept and clean. 10/10 would recommend for a day to hang out with the family and friends.
