Hampton Inn & Suites Southport

We stayed here until we closed on our new home. The week went great. Very friendly front desk and maid staff. I can’t say enough good things about them. Wonderful staff! They have grab n go in the morning and cookie at night. We stayed in a suite. Lovely room. Shades were in need of repair, but they discounted the room. Shades in order. Will send all our visitors and family here.

Great experience at Hampton Inn Southport! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights during our weekend getaway/mini vacation. Great location, very close to a brand new plaza with an urgent care, Starbucks, Lowe’s Foods and chick fil a nearby. VERY nice for a pet friendly hotel and for the cost. We will definitely be staying again! The only confusion we had when we got into town was the old Hampton Inn was located where the now Fairfield Inn is and my GPS took me there.

We always stay at Hampton/Hilton Properties. This location was very clean, friendly & absolutely quiet in the rooms. Noah at the front desk was super nice & helpful. Highly recommend! 😊

The stay was amazing honestly. The Place was very clean, digital check in worked perfectly and Kaitlyn at the front desk was very professional. I do plan on going back and this is the place where I will be staying.

My room was super nice and clean. I did not expect for it to be that nice but when me and my family arrived, we were blown away. The breakfast was good, the one thing that I did want to see was some sausage although they had bacon. The egg omelets were delicious and my kids loves them.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was great. Mr. Putnam at the front desk was friendly and informative. Great stay!

We received exceptional customer service at this location! We had booked in a room block for a wedding, and added on an extra room for our in-laws for them to help with the kids. Karen, at front desk offered to do more than we asked to make sure that we were near each other and had a pack and play in our room already. I was very impressed with all front desk staff and cleaning staff during our today visit two night three day visit to Southport. This is exactly why we are Hilton honors members. Not to mention how delicious the continental breakfast is! I can’t imagine a better hotel. We have stayed at mini Hampton Inn and locations all over the country as we are military and this is by far the most accommodating, clean and professional one.

The hotel and property was built in 2019 and is in excellent condition. The swimming pool was well-maintained (we visited in June). The gym was excellent.

The free breakfast was handled with great care and service; it was good overall. The staff even packed "to-go" bags with fruit, bagels, peanut butter, etc. for those who do not have time to sit and eat at the restaurant.

There are many choices of both casual dining and fast food in the area and the hotel is close to main highways and roads.

The staff was friendly and organized.

Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Great breakfast, beautiful interior, clean room.

This was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bedding was so comfy I slept like a baby. And breakfast was amazing. It goes until 10:00am! I got down to breakfast 15 minutes before they were suppose to close and they were still bringing out goodies!

I stayed one night on a solo long distance trip.

The hotel is in excellent shape. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. There's plenty of seating.

I didn't walk around but I did notice that there isn't any place to eat within walking distance, but if you're in a car you'll be fine. The parking lot is in excellent condition.

Great Staff was friendly courteous at check in and checkout lobby was clean because Hampton is known for their decor and lobby entrance foryer entrance chairs need to be replaced and carpet cleaned or replaced due to wear and tear and heavy traffic stains. Room was clean minus few cob webs on ceiling fixture sprinkle system by bed and fan/vent over toilet area. Mattress wasn't as comfortable as some other hotels in this chain we've stayed but nice size room.

We were originally supposed to be here for 1 night, but ended up having to extend. Becky was so helpful about trying to get us our current rooms so we didn’t have to pack up and move. When our overnight trip kept extending to 4 nights, Becky was the best. She was always welcoming, hospitable, and very personable. The rooms were great and clean too, but Becky was the best part of our stay!

Had a great experience at the Hampton Inn this past week. I travel at times for work and often check in very late(early morning). The night I stayed here I got in ridiculously late, so much so I almost didn’t bother. The staff was so friendly and accommodating I was shocked that upon checking in upon getting key. They luckily had the flexibility to without me even asking gave me a room for the entire next day and night. That was a first for me and I felt very much worth a mention. Hotel was clean and quiet and the rooms exceptionally spacious. Will definitely be there again.

This is our favorite hotel. My family and I stay here everytime we are in the area because it's in the perfect location, right in the middle of Oak island and Southport. It's always clean, we love the pool and everyone is always so nice. We will always recommend this hotel.

I believe this hotel is pretty new in the Southport area (about a year to 3 years old). It is a very convenient location to the beach and shopping. Everything was clean and comfortable.

This is everything I want from a Hampton Inn. Comfortable room, great breakfast, and a fitness center with equipment that works. We stayed for 3 nights visiting friends in Southport and were very satisfied.
